🇬🇪 The claim about “just one soldier” is simply absurd. Georgia was, in fact, the largest non-NATO contributor to the Alliance’s mission in Afghanistan.
Between 2004 and 2021, Georgia deployed up to 20,000 troops in total, which represents the highest per capita contribution among all participating countries.
Moreover, in 2012–2013, Georgia ranked as the third-largest troop contributor in Afghanistan, after the United States and Germany, with approximately 1,500 soldiers deployed annually.
Unfortunately, during the NATO mission, Georgia lost 32 servicemen, while more than 270 were wounded or injured.
Georgian troops were deployed in several high-risk areas, including Helmand Province and Kabul, and took part in critical and dangerous operations—missions that many NATO member states were unwilling to undertake or assume responsibility for.

Since its founding, the only time that NATO has ever invoked Article 5 has been in the defense of the United States after 9/11, leading to the death of several hundred NATO-led coalition troops during the War in Afghanistan. https://twitter.com/sentdefender/status/2044263762421596523/photo/1 - OSINTdefendertweet

🇺🇲🇮🇷 According to American officials who spoke to The Wall Street Journal, since the start of the maritime blockade on Monday, the U.S. Navy has stopped a total of eight Iranian oil tankers attempting to enter or leave Iranian ports. In all cases, American forces contacted the crews via radio communication and ordered them to change course. All tankers complied with the request, so boarding and inspection of the vessels were not necessary.
🇺🇸 According to Admiral Brad Cooper, commander of the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM), the blockade of Iranian ports "is fully implemented because U.S. forces maintain maritime superiority in the Middle East." Cooper added that in the approximately 36 hours since the blockade began on Monday, "U.S. forces have completely halted maritime economic trade entering and leaving Iran."

U.S. President Donald Trump, when asked by Jonathan Karl if the Iran war ends with a deal, or "do you just say, look, we knocked out their capability and that’s it?"
"It could end either way, but I think a deal is preferable because then they can rebuild. They really do have a different regime now. No matter what, we took out the radicals. They’re gone, no longer with us."

Hezbollah openly warned the Lebanese government against direct talks with Israel and even threatened violence. Lebanon ignored.
Just shows how weak Hezbollah has become. A good first step.
