Iran is unlikely to hand over their uranium. So, assuming it’s seizable, special ops to Iran to take possession of their uranium feels like a way to end all of this. We already built an airfield to rescue one soldier. We can protect our guys during extraction. - Clay Travistweet

Reuters: On the first full day of the U.S. maritime blockade, 3 Iran linked tankers, Rich Starry, Murlikishan, and Peace Gulf, transited the Strait of Hormuz on April 14, 2026.
Rich Starry, a U.S. sanctioned, Chinese owned tanker, exited the Gulf after loading approximately 250,000 barrels of methanol at Hamriyah in the UAE and is now en route to China.
Murlikishan, also under U.S. sanctions with a history of transporting Iranian and Russian oil, entered the Strait heading toward Iraq to load fuel oil.
Peace Gulf, a Panama flagged tanker that typically carries Iranian naphtha, was sailing toward Hamriyah port in the UAE.
None of the vessels were heading to Iranian ports, placing them outside the scope of Washington’s blockade.

Kpler data shows the Malawi flagged tanker Rich Starry departed Sharjah in the UAE fully loaded, turned back yesterday, and resumed its voyage today. It is now in the Gulf of Oman en route to China.
The vessel has successfully transited the Strait of Hormuz.
Because it originated from a UAE port, it was not subject to Washington’s blockade. - Open Source Inteltweet

"The end of the ceasefire should not lead to an extension of the ceasefire, or they must recognize Iran's rights, including our control over the Strait of Hormuz, or return to war. They are not supposed to use the breathing space that has emerged to resume their mischief and rearm themselves. If they do not grant us our rights, the loose tooth of the ceasefire must be pulled out and set aside."

A Lebanese official tells Al Jazeera that the priority for today's talks with Israel is reaching a ceasefire, with the Lebanese Ambassador to Washington's mandate limited to that issue alone.
The official called the session "preliminary" and a "starting point before general negotiations begin," adding that all other issues will be discussed later with three delegations present.
The official said Secretary of State Rubio's participation signals serious American sponsorship, and that contacts with the U.S. side "are positive and show an understanding of Lebanon's position."
