Senior Israeli security officials believe that if fighting resumes, Israel should target a different category of sites, specifically energy infrastructure, which would make Iran's recovery far more difficult.

Striking such targets requires U.S. approval. As of now, Trump's decision remains the biggest unknown.

🇺🇸🇮🇷 Axios: The United States demanded during weekend talks in Islamabad that Iran freeze uranium enrichment for 20 years.

Iran countered with a shorter “single digit” period.

The U.S. also asked Iran to remove all highly enriched uranium from the country; Tehran agreed to a “monitored process of down‑blending” instead.

The nuclear issue was the main sticking point that prevented a deal.

Pakistani, Egyptian and Turkish mediators are now trying to bridge the gaps before the ceasefire ends on 21 April.

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said an extension of 45‑60 days could be considered to allow negotiations to continue.

The Malawi-flagged crude oil tanker, M/T RICH STARRY, which claims to be bound for China loaded with oil from the United Arab Emirates, has turned back after approaching the Strait of Hormuz from the direction of the Persian Gulf. The RICH STARRY is sanctioned by the U.S. Treasury Department for its association with Iran.

The Malawi-flagged RICH STARRY tanker ship bound for China seems to have done a u-turn after approaching the Strait of Hormuz. https://twitter.com/KassyAkiva/status/2043724268010131932/photo/1

Reporter: Did you post that picture of yourself depicted as Jesus Christ?

Trump: It wasn't a depiction. I did post it and I thought it was me as a doctor. And had to do with red cross as a red cross worker, which we support and only the fake news could come up with that one. https://twitter.com/Osint613/status/2043732937204461664/video/1
