RT @sentdefender: In an extremely notable announcement, U.S. President Donald J. Trump has said that U.S. naval vessels will begin the process of blockading the Strait of Hormuz and that any vessel that pays a toll to Iran for transit will be interdicted by the U.S. Navy. Additionally, President Trump was extremely critical of the Iranian negotiators as well.

According to the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) Centre, a sailing vessel 54nm southwest of Al-Hodeidah, Yemen was approached by a skiff with roughly a dozen people aboard, ~4 of which were armed. After the skiff pulled alongside the vessel and requested they stop the sailing vessel’s master fired a flare at the skiff causing them to break off. Given the nature of the encounter, it’s yet unlikely that this encounter involved Houthi actors.

Israeli Ambassador to UN Danny Danon:

I was not surprised because I deal with the Iranians at the UN for years, and I see their attitude. They feel superior, superior to the U.S., to the Gulf countries, to Israel. You cannot fool President Trump https://twitter.com/Osint613/status/2043360958572089637/video/1

19 rocket and drone attacks launched by Hezbollah since this morning, estimating over 50, mostly unguided fire from Lebanon targeting civilian communities in northern Israel.

At this pace, the IDF may not hold back from striking Hezbollah targets in Beirut.

Waiting for a disaster to happen is a big risk to take.

Israeli Ambassador to UN Danny Danon:

President Trump spoke not only about the Iranians who are blocking the strait but also some of the countries that actually collaborate with them. I won't name names, but you have European countries that are paying top dollars, millions of dollars to the Iranian regime. If so I think when you speak about the closure of the strait, it should be clear that some of the countries cannot use the strait, it shouldn't be open to anyone.
