According to a statement from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, he has instructed his cabinet to begin negotiations with Lebanese decision-makers on the disarmament of Lebanese Hezbollah (LH) in the hopes of realizing a cessation of hostilities in Southern Lebanon. The survival of LH has increasingly been a publicly stated sticking point for Iranian decision-makers, who continue to threaten an uptempo in strikes across the region should Israel fail to end its operations against their primary, albeit severely weakened, non-state actor in the region.

NATO chief Mark Rutte says allies are now stepping up support after initial hesitation:

"When it came time to provide the logistical and other support the United States needed in Iran, some allies were a bit slow, to say the least. In fairness, they were also a bit surprised. To maintain the element of surprise for the initial strikes, President Trump opted not to inform allies ahead of time,"

"But what I see, when I look across Europe today, is allies providing a massive amount of support,"

"Nearly without exception, allies are doing everything the United States is asking. They have heard and are responding to President Trump's requests."

Iranian military spokesperson:

“The Americans, especially Trump, have proven completely unreliable. Our hand is on the trigger and we are awaiting orders from the commander. The enemy has shown in Iran and in two rounds of negotiations that it is not trustworthy, but given the blows it has received, we hope it returns to reason.”

RT @JasonMBrodsky: It appears that #Iran's regime's new SNSC Secretary Mohammad Bagher Zolghadr is also attending the Islamabad Talks in addition to Ghalibaf. Heavy senior #IRGCterrorists presence during these talks. Usually it's just Araghchi, who has been an IRGC member himself, and MFA diplomats. Zolghadr, whom the IRGC's chief commander pushed into office, is probably basically serving as a proxy for Ahmad Vahidi during the negotiations.

RT @sentdefender: According to CBS, citing survivors of the deadly Iranian attack in Kuwait that killed 6 U.S. servicemembers from the Army’s 103rd Sustainment Command, the details of the strike have been grossly misrepresented by the Department of War. According to the report, the strike was a direct hit and as reported previously, defensive measures around the installation were severely lacking. Regardless of this dynamic, survivors leapt to aid their wounded comrades following the impact. Additionally, per the report, before the impact the all clear had already been sounded from a previous alarm and servicemembers had returned to their stations and removed protective gear.
