Iran MFA: ‘Phone conversation between the Foreign Ministers of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Saudi Arabia

Seyed Abbas Araghchi, our country's Foreign Minister, spoke by phone on Wednesday night with Faisal bin Farhan, the Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia.

Our Foreign Minister, explaining the latest regional developments after the ceasefire announcement, emphasized Iran's responsible approach and stated: Unfortunately, the American side twice committed military aggression against Iran in the midst of the nuclear negotiations process, and this time, even before diplomacy and negotiations have taken shape, it is acting contrary to its commitments.

The Saudi Foreign Minister emphasized his country's support for the ceasefire agreement and ongoing efforts to restore stability and security to the region, expressing hope that the current ceasefire will pave the way for a complete end to the war and the return of security and stability to the region.’

RT @NSTRIKE1231: ❗️🇳🇴🇺🇦🇷🇺 BREAKING: Russia’s Foreign Ministry claims Norway’s navy is assisting Ukraine in preparing surface drone strikes against Russian vessels in the Barents Sea, warning that Norway is drawing NATO deeper into the conflict.

🟥 Norway’s armed forces chief stated that Russia may take military action to defend its strategic nuclear bases on the Kola Peninsula.

🟦 Norwegian citizens are receiving official notices about the possible requisition of private property for defense needs in case of war, along with evacuation plans for regions near Russia or of strategic importance.

💢 Norway is increasing cooperation with NATO allies, including the U.S., UK, and Canada, to protect underwater infrastructure and the Arctic region.

💢 The Svalbard archipelago remains a point of tension, with Russia attempting to expand its activities despite Norwegian sovereignty over the territory.

Mehdi Mohammadi, advisor to the Speaker of the Parliament, says:

"Only a few hours remain. Without fully restraining America's rabid dog in Lebanon, there will be no ceasefire or negotiations, and the missiles are ready to fly. The equation is that the fate of the components of the Resistance Axis as part of the new regional order after Iran's victory must be established; if it happens, it will be with kind words, otherwise with war."

The US was losing Europe with its arrogance long before.

The U.S. is losing Europe faster than Americans realize. Telling, by @A_Sloat https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2026/04/08/trump-europe-transatlantic-alliance-trust/

RT @DefenceHQ: This satellite image is of Russian naval base Olenya in the High North, along with their spy ship Yantar and specialist GUGI submarines before they departed port for UK waters.

These vessels are designed to survey underwater critical infrastructure during peacetime, then sabotage in conflict.

In response to nefarious activity by Russian GUGI submarines and an Akula Class submarine, the Defence Secretary @JohnHealey_MP deployed our Armed Forces to track and deter any malign activity by these vessels. We worked in partnership with Norway and other allies responding to increased Russian activity in the Atlantic, north of the UK.

A @RoyalNavy warship and @RoyalAirForce P-8 aircraft ensured the Russian submarines were monitored 24/7.

The Akula Submarine subsequently retreated home having been closely tracked throughout and we continued to monitor the two GUGI submarines, in and around wider UK waters.

Our Armed Forces left them with no doubt that they were being monitored, that their movements were not covert as Putin planned and that their attempted secret operations had been exposed.
