The Israeli military has submitted its findings on the March 23 Rafah airstrike that killed 15 rescue workers. The report, delivered to IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir by Southern Command chief Maj. Gen. Yaniv Asor, remains under review.
Zamir has tasked the General Staff Fact-Finding Assessment Mechanism—an independent investigative unit—with expanding and finalizing the probe in the coming days.
The IDF said the incident occurred in a combat zone and that troops opened fire due to a perceived threat, following earlier clashes in the area. Six of the individuals killed were identified as Hamxs operatives.
“All allegations will be thoroughly examined,” the military said, adding that a full report will be used to determine next steps.

Israel has received Egypt’s latest proposal, which includes the release of eight hostages in return for a ceasefire lasting between 40 to 70 days.
A source familiar with the details told The Jerusalem Post: “It will be very difficult to accept the proposal as it stands now, due to highly problematic demands from Hamxs regarding Phase B and discussions about ending the war.”

The formula used by the administration to calculate tariffs made other nations’ tariffs appear four times larger than they actually are.
President @realDonaldTrump is not an economist and therefore relies on his advisors to do these calculations so he can determine policy.
The global economy is being taken down because of bad math.

The President’s advisors need to acknowledge their error before April 9th and make a course correction before the President makes a big mistake based on bad math. tweet
