Subscriptions limit change!
Bot uses simple polling mechanism to get updates from all sources: Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and so on. Each of these sources have restrictions on how many requests they can process from bot. It means that bot can check for new data each second in average. Number of subscriptions grows but it also means that delivery delay grows. At this moment delivery delay for Instagram is about 60 minutes, for Twitter - 30 minutes.
Until now bot did not have any limits. Any user was able to monitor any subscriptions count. Problem is that there are several users which abused this and added up to 500 subscriptions. This affects on delivery delay for all users. So I decided to limit maximal count of subscriptions. Only 40 subscriptions is allowed from now. I hope it is not too restrictive because only 5% of users have more than 40 subscriptions. I'm not going to remove subscriptions for these users and but they also will not able to add new subscriptions.
In future I'm planning to add payed subscriptions for users who really needs to monitor lots of subscriptions or want to get instant notifications (in 5 minutes). I will be able to buy more VPS's and start polling from several machines simultaneously.
As usual you can leave your thoughts in group @evagfeedback.
Thanks.
