With the way the market is for now, I think after the NFP, we may now see where the market actually wants to move to.

Looking at the 4HTF, you can see clearly that despite the market looking bearish on a weekly and daily timeframe, for weeks now it has been consolidating around here.

After mitigating that last demand level, price has failed to shift structure properly.

It’s as if the gold market is preparing for a major news event that will sweep a lot of liquidity and finally give a proper structure.

Maybe the NFP will make that happen.
