👉What is OpsSection?
OpsSection is a package for creating openseespy fiber section objects in Python. Using this package, different types of the most used steel, concrete, and composite fiber sections can be easily created and used in openseespy models.
The sections that can be created with this package are as follows:
Steel Sections:
I/W, Tube, Pipe, Angle, Double Angle, Channel, Double Channel (Face-to-Face), Double Channel (Back-to-Back)
RC Sections:
Rectangular Beam, Rectangular Column, Circular Column
Other Sections:
