๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ June CPI inflation rate falls to 3.0%, below expectations of 3.1%.

Core CPI inflation fell to 3.3%, below expectations of 3.4%.

This marks the 39th consecutive month with inflation at or above 3%.

It's also the 3rd straight month with declining CPI inflation.

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ CPI inflatioN fell by -0.1% in June 2024, below expectations of a +0.1% increase.

This is officially the first NEGATIVE month-over-month inflation print since May 2020.

The Fed is going to love this inflation report.

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธWhile June CPI inflation is at 3.0%, inflation is much higher in many basic necessities:

1. Car Insurance Inflation: 19.5%
2. Transportation Inflation: 9.4%
3. Hospital Services Inflation: 6.9%
4. Car Repair Inflation: 6.0%
5. Electricity Inflation: 5.9%
6. Homeowner Inflation: 5.4%
7. Rent Inflation: 5.1%
8. Food Away From Home Inflation: 4.1%

Inflation has been at or above 3% for 39 consecutive months now.

While June CPI was a move in the right direction, elevated inflation in key categories makes inflation feel much higher.

We've also now had over 3 years of compounding inflation.

Affordability is still getting worse.

๐Ÿ‡ฉ๐Ÿ‡ช German government puts out press release covering their "market-friendly sale" of 49,858 #Bitcoin.

It states, "the sale of assets even before the conclusion of ongoing criminal proceedings is always legally required if there is a threat of a significant loss in value of about ten percent or more. These conditions were always met with the volatile Bitcoins due to the enormous and extremely fast price fluctuations."

"From the beginning, less than one percent of the market volume of Bitcoins was regularly traded over 90 percent over the counter in a market-friendly manner. On this scale, there is no direct influence on the Bitcoin price."
