$75,000 + Travel Support to Study AI’s Impact on Work
Microsoft #AI #Economy #Institute (AIEI) is inviting researchers to apply for Cohort 3, offering $75,000 in research grants and travel support to study the impact of #AI on work. This initiative focuses on how AI is reshaping #productivity, #labor markets, #education systems, and #economic opportunities globally. The research should also address regional and global economic geography and the broader structural shifts in labor markets as AI capabilities expand.
Selected researchers will receive:
- A $75,000 research grant
- Travel support for an in-person workshop (increased support for those outside North America)
- Participation in the AIEI Senior Fellows Program, including bi-weekly research workshops
- An opportunity to contribute a chapter to an edited book on the AI economy
- Submission of a peer-reviewed, open-access journal article
- Engagement with policymakers, educators, employers, and industry leaders
Key dates to remember:
