TEMPERAMENT BUILDER FOR MAINS 2025.

1. It's a common "bhul gya hun sab" feeling. But it's not true. Validate yourself and once you start writing things will automatically come to mind.

2. Check if any changes in pattern of papers. Adapt accordingly.

3. Every second counts. The moment you are given QCAB, you are single mindedly devoted to her(your paper) till it is snatched away. Every single nano second. Mind it.

4. Demand of questions >>> Value Additions

5. Try completing the paper. Manage your time accordingly. Don't change your style of attempting paper at last moment. Stick with it.

6. Don't indulge in discussions, interviews of coaching etc. Its bullshit trap and harms your momentum.

7. Light food in the break. Short nap if needed. Carry a bedsheet with you for this.

8. Get your logistics sorted. How to commute, where to stay, when to come back etc

9. Plan your revisions and time in this upcoming week. Morning time, between break, after papers or no revision?

10. No matter what, you will not give up till optional paper 2 is over. I always got more marks in those papers where I was close to crying while writing. Be emotionless till last paper. Be a machine of executing a task.

Dump your mock essay questions now. Better to spend time, with someone, LOYAL now 😁. That is, PYQs. Dissect all the PYQs from 2013 onwards and find the pattern among them.

1.Try using PYQ Essay Topics/Statments in Tomorrow's exam.
2. Practice 5 min brainstorming of topics before entering the hall or in those extra 5 mins before starting of paper.

Take some rest. Have a light lunch.
And start GS1/2 for tomorrow. Plan what to prioritise in revisions.

SUBJECT ORDER
Revise Gs2 first so that Gs1 can be done with free mind in later half or even in morning(if you do it)

ADVICE FOR GS PAPERS

1. Demand/Subparts of questions >> Value Additions

2. Plan beforehand how you will utilise those extra 5 minutes(when QCAB is given) and 30 minutes(entry to school).

3. Don't change your style/order of attempting the paper at last.

4. Get into the thinking/writing groove before entering the hall. 5-10 minutes practice will suffice.

5. If you can fulfill point 1, try to complete or cook(become a chef if need be) all the questions(Try not to sacrifice 15 makers).

6. Plan your breaktime beforehand.

Training of the subconscious mind, "Mains will be managed", is important right now.
Don't focus on academics, rather focus on mind training.

It doesn't matter how much we know, what matters is, how much we deliver!!

Remember it's not an emotional game. It's a ruthless, logical and machine designed task, which checks your endurance.

No looking back. We will not open GS-1 even for a second. Feedback of GS-1 will not benefit you, instead will harm you more.

Advice: Don't push too much for revising GS3/4 now. Take sufficient rest today.

Logic: Except inclusive growth, some agriculture and security questions, most of Gs3 is less predictable.
But we need high order thinking skills and endurance during GS4.

CASE STUDY CONTINGENCY PLAN

If cases are TOO LONG TO READ like 2022, have a plan ready.
1. Ignore the facts of the case and focus on Duties/Responsibilities, Issues, Stakeholders.
2. Underline, box and write sideways all of above, in first reading(80-90 seconds)and memorize quickly in second reading(10-15 seconds).


To practice point 1, observe 2022 cases and see what are facts and where they are written and what/ where stakeholders duties issues etc are written.
