Students ask me, "How to learn building Interlinkages between different content, subjects and papers?" My answer: You cannot learn this skill, if you depend on these 2: 1. Ready made content for "every topic" 2. Learn "too much" content for each topic.…
Got 2 messages.
(Big learnings here hence sharing)
1. One was asking for my active recall questions of modern India.
2. Second was saying I uploaded spectrum to chatgpt, asked it to identify topics for mains and frame me the answers using historians, arguments value addition etc.
Both ways will not yield results AT ALL!!! Because when you yourself spend time with material, read paragraphs, identify questions, think about the content, establish linkages across pages, plan where you will write it and when, that's where GENUINE learning lies.
Readymade things may ease up your efforts but will eventually u will lack ability to puke or recall or place the content at right moment and right place.
Good Luck 🤞

"Force in the wrong direction creates pressure, not progress."
The same applies to UPSC preparation.Solving 10,000 irrelevant, "GHAR SE BANE SAWAL"won’t help you clear the exam. What works is focusing on "UPSC Ke SAWAL"
How?
"That is exactly what we cover in our course.”

Those asking what is LMR notes? Is it another red book, blue book or green book of NFU? No!!!. These red blue etc books are "COPY PASTE"stuff. Our LMR will be HANDWRITTEN and Crisp filtered directly by us(naman, nikhil and manish). This is what will be…
Question: Which content to remember which to skip?
Answer: "TRIPLE FILTER TEST"
1. Topic in syllabus?
2. Can answer pyq?
3. Can you remember it till last?
Any thing that seeps thru all the 3 sieves. Should be done. The rest should be dumped!!
Those who know, they know SkeletonKey is nothing but list of such tests😁

Sometimes, you don't realize what you're missing until you witness it firsthand.
When results fall short of your hard work, it's tempting to blame the effort itself.
But the real issue isn't magnitude or quantity of efforts, it's the direction and the quality.
We're here to channel your energy straight to victory!

Natural corollary to this is, "Minimise the Uncontrollables" With Triple Approach of: 1. Non-negotiables, 2. Pattern to Randomness 3. SkeletonKey
2 things will certainly happen
1. If, you follow non negotiables, you will clear CSE
2. If, you follow everything, you will clear IFoS.
Not a single doubt about it. We are not only clearing forest, but clearing forest with 15 extra marks.
It is not a guarantee but a time tested planning and strategy!!!
Rest, होगी वही जो राम रची रखा 😌

Question: I am not eligible for IFoS. Why do I need to care for forest cut off?
Answer: Ambiguity in at least 5-6 answers of UPSC key. Hence, only marks equivalent of forest cutoff can assure you of CSE Mains appearance!!!!

Those who are acting oversmart by sharing the platform, only one chance will be given to reset the devices, that too in the initial phase only, to account for a mistake.
After that it won't be done and you will be blocked. If you guys have to share it in 2999/- then I don't know where you people are heading. It is 1/5th the price of the rent you give in Delhi.
Choro won't give Gyan, but, I hope my message has been conveyed.
Good Luck 🤞

We, at NFU, really want every one of you to clear Prelims and that too comfortably. Why we're so desperate for it...
Tough Knockout Round
Prelims feels like the mean gatekeeper, if you don't get through, you're out of the process for a whole year. You end up doing nothing, you don't feel motivated to do anything. That's time gone, and it hurts to waste those precious years of effort.
Ticket to the Big Game
Mains and interview are like a lottery pot(yes there's larger variability in it), you might win big, but you can't play without clearing Prelims first. Skip this, and all your prep feels pointless.
Sweet Confidence Boost
Seeing "1 match found" lights you up inside. Suddenly, everyone family, friends, your crush (😅😂) sees your UPSC dream as real. It makes your whole journey feel legit! There's change of perspective towards you and of you.
Builds Real Self-Belief
I've seen it with friends and mentees: clearing Prelims once gives you rock-solid confidence. It carries you through all of UPSC prep and even life beyond. Suddenly you also know that you mean business 😎
Opens Up Exciting New Stuff
You fill out DAF-1, dive into Mains hustle, chat with optional subject folks and the whole vibe changes. UPSC finally notices you back after your one-sided crush phase! 😂 Now it's a real two-way thing, pushing you to work even harder. I mean She (UPSC 😝😜) keeps sending you reminders, communications etc etc..
Prelims is the harshest part, super easy to mess up. Propensity to get misguided is highest here. Most importantly you wouldn't know where you went wrong because you feel it's objective and just keep on doing the mistake again and again.
We want you to Keep calm, stay believing, heads up. NFU is right here cheering for you. If you feel like speaking to someone, reach out to us @nfu_official

SHIFTING TO PRELIMS!! CASE 1: Shift immediately. No excuse of mains. CASE 2: Complete all that work in the next 25-30 days which cannot be done between prelims and mains. Like new topics of optional, ethics, mains portion of spectrum/laxmikant book etc.…
Who belongs to Case 1/2/3?
FOR CASE 2/3 PEOPLE, It will not take >1-2 hours daily to follow the skeletonkey schedule. Rest of the time follow this.
1. January to Mid February: Go mains exclusive subjects like security, governance, social justice, ethics etc.
2. Mid February to March: Prepare pre mains overlapping subjects like history, polity, geography from Mains perspective (having ability to write answers)
3. April to 20 May: Prelims exclusive rote learning like history literatures, spectrum tables, biodiversity parks ramsar etc etc
4. 21 May to 23 May: PYQ rewiring of brain 🧠
Good Luck 🤞

CURRENT AFFAIRS COVERAGE
"70% of current affairs is actually static. Only 30% of the content is new" For example:
1. Polity current affairs is 95% static and only 5% current
2. Environment: all the biodiversity portion is static, only 10% is new.
3. Science: majorly conceptual portion is asked in pre, and that is static in nature.
4. Economy: 60% is static and 40% is new.
And likewise.
So, if any one is fooling you in the name of current affairs, ask him
How much of that 30% new current is asked in the exam? And actually this 30% can be easily managed around April month and will be dealt with BY ME (in contemporary affairs). No need to worry. Don't get fooled. Use your brain.
