Told this, prelims ka natural characteristic hai uneasy unpredictable cheezen throw karna. You have to just accept this surprise initially.

Uske baad toh paper un logo ne hi banaya hai, jo hamesa banate hai. Toh vahi "footprints" bhi chhod diye, jinko mein "examiners limitation" batata hu hamesa.

Dimag shant or nerve management kiya hota toh, ye footprints and limitations dikh jate, jaise ki har saal dikhte the mujhe "exam hall" mein or abhi bhi dikh rhe.

Ek major change hai bas, iss baar 2023 jaise random topics par questions hai, and easy padhne vale questions bahut kam dikh rhe.

Toh finally, "Theory of Limitations" and "Nerve Management" hi kaam aayi hai, jaisa ki har saal aati hai.

Asli dard raat ko sote hue hota. Immediately marks dekhne par nhi.

Aur usse bhi jada dard, jab subha ankh khulne vali hoti h tab hota.
Tab realise hota h kya hua kal. Sabse painful moment ye ankh khulne vala hota hai.

Mera khud abhi jab ankh khula, I was like yaar kal kya hi khela kardiya usne. Felt the same moment after 2022 prelims & 2023 final results in the morning.

But koi na, as always, we will try to control the controllables.

CONTROL THE CONTROLLABLES

Jo control mein usse control karna chahiye, vo bit gya, jisko change nhi kar sakte uspe rone se kuch nhi hota. If we meet with an accident, we don't crib/cry, instead immediately we start to take control over the controllables, i.e damage minimisation or first aid.

So, if you wish to remain in this preparation further, start with optional asap. Irrespective what marks you are getting

I used to clear "every mains", because, I was good at nerve control. I tried to utilise these days before result, which students usually waste in discussing cutoff and answers.

So, "the best" way to control the things now is to complete your 70% of optional before result(may be around 10 june). 70% means all the "easy" chapters and all the manageable chapters, leaving only tough chapters for later on.

If you do this, you get a direct edge of 20 marks directly using academic prowess or indirectly reducing mental pain.

I understand it is tough, but this is, how it is. You chose this exam, so you have to bear with this.

Paper kaisa bhi tha, 14000 type jo bhi chahiye, utne log toh mil hi jayege. Vo objective fact hai. Change nhi hoga. Also, mains mein ~80-85 din hai. Ye bhi objective fact hai. Change nhi hoga.

"Mausam badal raha hai", toh tumhe bhi kapde badlne honge ab. Garmi me garmi ke kapde, sardi mein sardi ke.

Aur ye 15 din vo "golden hours" hai, jo ki disaster ka pehla 1 hour hota h, disaster management strategy mein. Most powerful, yet most ignored. Baad me recovery almost impossible hai. Rarely person qualifies for interview. Scary, but truth.

Aur ye baat mujhe Isley pta hai, ki mene ye time ko "khud jiya" hai, aur utilise bhi kiya hai.
