A new seed phrase scam is gaining popularity on the internet.
π The scammer pretends to be a newbie ("hamster") and asks for help withdrawing funds, sharing a wallet that typically shows around $1K in itββaccidentallyβ revealing the seed phrase.π‘ The most naive "genius" rushes to "punish" the supposed fool, completely unaware that the real fool is staring back in the mirror.π They enter the address and seed phrase, and... oh wow! Thereβs real money there! But to withdraw it, they need to pay a fee in TRX (most often). The guy eagerly sends a few coins, already imagining how they'll spend the "free" money.
BUT WHO COULD HAVE GUESSED THAT IT'S NOT THAT SIMPLE!!!
π Their crypto gets sent to the scammer's multisig wallet, which requires multiple confirmations for outgoing transactions. Without those, you can only depositβno withdrawals allowed.π And there they sit, sad and defeated, realizing theyβre not as clever as they thought and that stealing isnβt such a great idea after all.
