🕒 NIGHT RESTRICTIONS
Public movement within the 3 KM border belt is banned daily from 7 PM to 6 AM.
🚫 KEY RESTRICTIONS
Authorities have prohibited:
— High-beam lights and searchlights facing the border
— DJs, loud music, and firecrackers near border areas
— Use of Pakistani SIM cards or cross-border mobile networks

The measures are aimed at countering:
— Drone-based smuggling and weapon drops
— Night-time infiltration attempts
— Interference with BSF surveillance systems

Reduced civilian movement and noise will help thermal cameras, seismic sensors, and drone-detection systems operate more effectively.

Farmers will require BSF-issued IDs and special permission for night irrigation, while government and defence personnel remain exempt.
