💥 The National Institute of Civil Aeronautics (INAC) of Venezuela has issued NOTAM A0622/25, which replaces and extends A0483/25, imposing a total ban on civil and general aviation within the Maiquetía FIR (SVZM). The measure blocks overflights, crossings, and any non-military air operations.

⌛ The restriction will be in effect from November 30, 2025 (18:10 UTC) until March 1, 2026 (23:59 UTC). The official reason given by INAC is “military operations.”

❗️ The document establishes four Exclusion Zones defined by coordinates, covering strategic areas in the south and southwest of the country, including border regions with Colombia and Brazil, as well as corridors commonly used by commercial and private aviation.

➡️ Exclusion Zone N5
Located in the state of Apure, near the Colombian border. It is an area linked to military operations against irregular groups.

➡️ Exclusion Zone N6
Covers a larger territory between Apure and Amazonas, including jungle areas and internal routes toward the south.

➡️ Exclusion Zone N7
Includes regions in the state of Amazonas and approaches routes toward Puerto Ayacucho. Historically sensitive due to the presence of armed groups and unregistered activities.

➡️ Exclusion Zone N8
Located farther north and northeast, extending toward Guárico, Bolívar, and the Orinoco axis. Its reach may affect air connections between the center and south of the country.

Our source said that there are many granite minings in the area and such explosives are used there.
