An IAF Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA), while on a routine training mission, was force landed safely near Jaisalmer after experiencing an engine malfunction.

The RPA was recovered in an empty field, resulting in no damage on ground and minimal damage to the RPA itself.

🚨 Russia offers full Su‑57 fighter tech to India ahead of Putin’s visit

📍Rostec CEO Sergey Chemezov has offered unrestricted access to technology for the 5th-generation Su-57 stealth fighter jet to Delhi to support the country's future fighter aircraft requirements.

📍Chemezov said any demand by the Indian side regarding the technology will be "completely acceptable"

📍Rosoboronexport, also highlighted that Moscow is offering India both licence production of air weapons for future generation aircraft and integration of Indian weapons. Rosoboronexport is offering "technology transfer" and "technological learning" of new-generation technologies to India, including engines, optics, AESA radar, AI elements, low-signature technologies & modern air weapons

📍IAF Squadron Leader and defence analyst Vijainder K Thakur said the renewed Russian outreach is likely to include the single-engine Su-75 Checkmate fighter jet.

📍Putin is visiting India in December & this defence deal could be the centrepiece of the summit.
