A year ago today I was laying on a dirty floor in a prison in Mississippi listening to the election results on a Correctional Officers radio through the bottom of my cell door…

My nerves were shot and I had a brief panic attack. Was he going to win? Was the rest of my life going to be spent in a concrete box? Is God listening to my family’s prayers?

I cried with joy when I heard PA went red. I knew my suffering and that of my family was over. I knew God saw me on my knees praying to Jesus that night. We were vindicated. I WAS GOING HOME.

Although my release wasn’t going to happen for another 76 days…

I knew @realDonaldTrump was a man of his word. A decent man that loves this nation with all his heart. A man that has made a better world.

Thank you Jesus and thank you @POTUS.l for the gift of life. In this world and beyond.

I also want to thank all of you that didn’t stop fighting for us. You guys are now family. I Love You.
