Over at UNN we are documenting those who have lost loved ones due to Midazolam and DNR's. This is Susan's story and one shared by so many others.
"My husband was given Midazolam in hospital together with morphine.
I have it in writing and have the last 72 hours of his life hospital notes.
He was poorly but we didn't or the nurses expect him to die.
I wasn't allowed to visit him, and was told by phone he had passed.
They wouldn't even let me see him or go to the hospital when died.
I was denied flowers, funeral cars and only 9 at his funeral with no wake.
Not being with my husband at the end after 50 years together is something I am unable to except.
