📡@G3News: A widespread disruption of some kind caused outages for major websites worldwide Thursday afternoon.
DownDetector.com showed a sharp and simultaneous spike in outage reports for travel, retail, financial and gaming websites globally.
Oracle's Cloud Infrastructure website indicated the service was experiencing an ongoing issue, though it was not immediately clear if the outages were related. Akamai also reported a problem with its service as well.

Over the last year we have seen nations forcibly quarantine folks, lock them in their homes, push for mandatory vaxx in some places, and now the merger of private and state power to enforce vaxx requirements for travel and free movement.
I recognize that some people are afraid to be vocal, especially in light of recent "domestic extremism" propaganda, but if you are not vocal NOW then what are you waiting for? This insanity is not just going to go away, it's going to get worse.
The totalitarian statists are advancing their agenda at breakneck speed and their obedient (and/or blind) followers love seeing the demonization of free thinkers and critical thinkers. "Trust the science" is their new dogma they unquestionably spit out because they appear to be incapable of thinking for themselves.
Do you think they are just going to back off and go away? Not likely. But even if you imagine they did back off, we have already seen their true colors. The "powers that wish they were" are using covid and variants and cyberhacks to come after our last vestiges of liberty and independence. Their followers are... following. The last year has shown them how successful their narrative can be. They are racing to the finish line.
So, again, are you ready to stand up? Speak out?
Speaking out on social media, sharing links etc is the EASIEST thing you can do. It takes little effort. If you haven't started, if you are still quietly lurking you need to check yourself. We need you now more than ever.
If you are already sharing information and working on waking the masses - great. Now it's time to take things to the next level and prepare for the possibility that we cannot "save" society as a whole and focus on building pockets of liberty all over the world. Get connected with your local community, build Freedom Cells, organize, plan, and exit from these unstable, unsustainable, insane systems. This is the way.

Its never been more obvious that we need to #TakeBackOurTech, and install free & open source applications locally on our machines, without external dependencies to services that may go down.
In today's article/video #TakeBackOurTech will show you how to install apps in three different decentralized formats, that enable Linux users and developers to share tens of thousands of Linux apps directly with each other.
We've also released another article with more resources on where to find applications!

Introducing App Manager Community
Certain features offered by App Manager could be very useful if the experienced users shared their configurations and tips which would allow a new user or a complete newbie to get started quickly. Currently, this is very limited because we do not have any dedicated forum nor any central repository where the information may be readily available. We do have a documentations site, but it is understandable that many users do not actually read them. So, we concluded that involving users is the best approach to solve these problems. In future, we may also add the option to interact with the repositories in App Manager so that users can access these configurations directly in the app.
Currently, the repositories are hosted at GitHub: https://github.com/AMCommunity. However, we've planned to extend this to GitLab and Codeberg in the future.
The repositories
Currently, there are three repositories:
- Exported Rules: App specific rules exported using App Manager's export function
- Profiles: Exported profiles from App Manager
- Tips & Tricks: Tips and tricks on App Manager
How to contribute
Contributing instructions are available in the readme file of each repository.
