The controversy is compounded by recent statements from Paris, where French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot confirmed that a year-long push to sanction settlers within Israel for violence in the occupied West Bank is nearing approval, signaling a broader shift in European patience.

The European Union has now intervened, issuing a stark warning that entities involved in facilitating these shipments could face inclusion on Brussels' sanctions list. An EU spokesperson confirmed that a joint démarche has been issued with Ukraine to demand an explanation from Israeli authorities, stressing that "individuals and entities in third countries" are not immune to listing if they circumvent international trade restrictions.

A fire at the Tuapse #oil refinery has already engulfed a gas turbine unit, an RTVI correspondent reports.

A gas station near the refinery is under threat, and the situation is only worsening, reports Alexey Kazannikov.

According to the Telegram channel "Ostorozhno Novosti," smoke from the fire is visible from the Krasnaya Polyana resort.
