Trump is pushing a $1.5 trillion defense budget, a 40% increase and the largest since World War II, putting military expansion first.
To pay for it, he backs deep domestic cuts: halving environmental protection, cutting housing and education funding, and removing billions from clean energy, water, labor, and health programs. Job training, senior employment, and food assistance would be eliminated, along with the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program, which helps poor households pay heating and cooling bills, and the National Endowment for Democracy.
Overall, domestic spending would fall by about 10%, shifting money away from internal needs toward long-term military buildup.

📡 Kremlin Pushes State Messenger Adoption
The Kremlin is actively promoting MAX, a state-backed messaging application, as a preferred communications platform for Russian users. According to Reuters reporting, a segment of the population is declining to install the service.
State-promoted messaging infrastructure follows an established pattern in centralized communications strategy: routing civilian traffic through domestically controlled platforms enables metadata retention and content access under national law. Resistance from users indicates the substitution effort has not achieved passive adoption — a marker of incomplete normalization.

🇲🇽Mexico Speeds Up Biometric ID Rollout | Reclaim the Net
Mexico’s government wants you to believe that handing over your fingerprints, iris scans, and facial data is voluntary. President Claudia Sheinbaum has said so publicly.
But by July 2026, every one of the country’s roughly 130 million mobile phone lines must be linked to a biometric national ID, and unregistered numbers get suspended on July 1.
Refuse the biometric credential and lose your phone.
The CURP Biométrica upgrades Mexico’s existing population registry code, the Clave Única de Registro de Población, from an 18-character alphanumeric string into something far more personal. The updated system captures face, fingerprint, and iris biometrics, packages them with a QR code and digital signature, and produces what amounts to a mobile-readable identity document tied to your body.

Nekogram APKs Accused of Hidden Spying Code | One Jail Break
A new investigation by security researcher Repinek is raising alarm over Nekogram, a widely used third-party Telegram client, with claims the app’s Android builds may include covert spying functionality. The report alleges that released APKs contain hidden code capable of collecting and silently transmitting sensitive user data.
The core concern isn’t just privacy, it’s trust. According to the findings, the behavior identified in compiled APKs does not exist in the project’s public source code, suggesting users may be installing something materially different from what developers publish on the Nekogram GitHub.

This isn't a leak, but...
BREAKING: Nekogram is secretly sending your phone numbers to the developer
The backdoor is hidden in the http://Extra.java
file, which differs from the template uploaded to the repository. The obfuscated code sends data as an inline request to the @nekonotificationbot, leaving no trace.
More info about the backdoor: https://github.com/Nekogram/Nekogram/issues/336 (locked by Nekogram devs)
To validate this, we made a PoC: an LSPosed module that replaces the bot ID and username to ours so all requests are going to it. That way, we confirmed that the phone numbers are being collected. Every. Login.
The PoC is available here: https://github.com/RomashkaTea/nekogram-proof-of-logging
What should you do?
1. Report the app on Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=tw.nekomimi.nekogram
2. Report the repository on GitHub: https://github.com/Nekogram/Nekogram
3. Delete the app and stop using unofficial Telegram clients

US intelligence reports say Iran is rapidly restoring underground missile bunkers and silos after strikes, returning them to operation within hours, according to NYT.
Despite claims from the Pentagon and White House of major progress, citing over 11,000 targets hit, intelligence assessments indicate Iran still retains a significant number of missiles and mobile launchers, preserving its ability to continuously carry out attacks in the region.
Iran has reduced launch rates but is conserving resources, hiding assets underground, while using decoys, making it difficult to fully assess or eliminate its missile capabilities.

🇨🇺RTVI’s new video from Cuba shows what an energy blockade looks like in real life. People stand in fuel lines a thousand deep. Hospitals work through blackouts. Families say they feel like they are living in a camp, not on a tropical island.
The report links this directly to Washington’s oil embargo and pressure on anyone who dares sell crude to Havana. Sanctions here are not an abstract policy tool. They are empty fridges, dead streetlights and protests in the dark — and the camera lets Cubans themselves say that on record.

❗️Iranian hacker group Handala publishes details of Israeli Unit 9900 officers
The Iranian hacker collective Handala announced today that it has released the personal details of 50 senior officers from Unit 9900, the Israeli military intelligence (Aman) unit specializing in geospatial intelligence. According to Handala, the leak is the result of months of surveillance and complex cyber operations.
Unit 9900 is known for using drone imagery, satellite photos, and urban surveillance cameras to produce detailed 3D maps, which have reportedly supported targeted operations, including airstrikes and assassinations of Resistance Axis commanders. Handala described the release as a historic blow to Israeli security and a warning to all actors in the information warfare arena.
"The widespread exposure of these officers’ identities is more than just an end to the myth of the Zionist regime’s invulnerability, it is a clear warning to all actors in the information warfare arena: the era of darkness and secrecy is over. From now on, no criminal will remain hidden under the illusion of Zionist security," the statement read.
The group stated that the operation demonstrates that no Israeli officer involved in military operations can remain hidden, and it emphasized that future acts of aggression will be met with retaliation by Resistance fighters and cyber operatives. Handala concluded its statement with a message that “the end is near” and urged observers to await its next move.
