Iran has announced an attack using the Fattah-2 hypersonic missile.
This missile has a range of 1,400 km. Its combination of speed and maneuverability makes intercepting the Fattah-2 nearly impossible.

On February 3, 2026, President Trump signed Public Law 119-75, the Consolidated Appropriations Act, which preserved funding for Section 24220 of the 2021 Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act. This mandate requires all new passenger vehicles starting with model year 2027 to include advanced impaired driving prevention technology that passively monitors drivers and can disable vehicles if impairment is detected.
The House rejected Rep. Thomas Massie's defunding amendment 164 to 268 on January 22, with 57 Republicans joining 211 Democrats to keep the mandate funded. The No Kill Switches in Cars Act, introduced by Rep. Scott Perry to repeal Section 24220 outright, has a 2 percent chance of passing committee according to GovTrack analysis.
Two technologies under development through the DADSS program include breath-based sensors using infrared analysis and touch-based systems using tissue spectroscopy to measure blood alcohol through skin contact. After 18 years of development, NHTSA told the Associated Press in February 2026 it is still assessing developing technologies, and Congress is advancing a bill offering a $45 million prize for the first consumer-ready system.
Former Congressman Bob Barr identified critical privacy concerns including always-on monitoring, vehicle control access for disabling, and backdoor access for third parties. The Alliance for Automotive Innovation warned regulators that even a 1 in 10,000 false positive rate would strand thousands of unimpaired drivers daily. Vehicle telematics abuse is already documented in court: GM settled with the FTC over sharing driving data with brokers, Toyota faces a Wiretap Act class action in Texas, and Allstate's subsidiary Arity was caught collecting driving data from 40 million mobile connections every 15 seconds through unrelated apps.

🇮🇷🇺🇸| A US submarine attacked Iran’s Dena Mowj-class frigate near Sri Lanka, with 2 torpedoes.
So far, 32 injured sailors were rescued, while 148 remain missing.
The ship was returning from the International naval exercise in India, around Indian waters.
This is how they’re fighting us. Attacking a ship that was not even involved in combat operations and is thousands of kilometers away from Iran.
The nature of American is wicked.
Iran should show no mercy.

🇮🇷| Confirmed visuals showing 2 pilots who ejected from the fighter jet that was shot down in Lavasan mountains, north of Tehran
If it’s in fact an American jet, then this would be a F-15.

🇶🇦| Qatar has officially fully stopped gas liquefaction at Ras Laffan & declared force majeure on exports — Reuters.
It will take at least 2 weeks to restart liquefaction, followed by another 2 weeks to restore full capacity.
Context:
Gas liquefaction = turning natural gas into LNG.
Force majeure = Not being able to fulfill contract obligations

Putin will instruct the government to consider cutting off Russian gas supplies to Europe:
I want to be clear, there's no political agenda. But if they're going to shut us down in a month or two, then we'd be better off stopping now and moving to other countries that are reliable partners, and establishing ourselves there. But that's not a solution; in this case, it's just me thinking out loud, so to speak. I'll definitely instruct the government to work on this issue with our companies.

In very simple terms, Putin promised not to wait for another ban on gas supplies to the EU, but to turn off the tap right now.
What will happen to gas prices in Europe after Qatar's suspension and such a promise? Never mind the prices. Where will they even get their gas?

Thousands of Iranians come out every night, play patriotic songs (in this case the national anthem), express support for the military and the Islamic Republic, and engage in communal prayers till 5 in the morning.
I've never seen anything like this before. During ONGOING bombardments of their cities. The atmosphere mirrors the 8-year Holy Defense against Iraq in the 1980s.

🇮🇱🤭Nothing unusual, just Jewish braggers boasting about an air strike on an Iranian Mi-17 helicopter.
And that would be fine, but the helicopter turned out to be a drawing, so the ground had to take the beating.

The US and Israeli militaries are using their latest AI tools to attack Iran.
Iran appears to have a clear appreciation of the AI menace, hence its attacks on Amazon’s data centers in the UAE and Bahrain, which shut down regional cloud service functions.
Other sites, like Microsoft’s data center in the UAE, could be next.
Why is military use of AI dangerous?
Case in point: A Kings College study published on the eve of the Iran war revealed that AI models used in war games scenarios opted to escalate conflicts to nuclear strikes in 95% of cases, indicating that Skynet is real, but just hasn’t been given the nuclear trigger, yet.
Ukraine became AI wars’ laboratory, Gaza the prototype.
Iran is shaping up to become the full-scale production model, and that should terrify every rational thinking person on the planet.
