For those who accuse the Alawites of massacring Syrians, let’s look at the actual power structure of the former regime. The corrupt generals who controlled Syria were predominantly Sunni, not Alawite.

Why Don’t You See the Truth?

The reality is that more than half of Bashar’s regime and its key officers were Sunni. Yet, Alawites are scapegoated for crimes committed by a government dominated by Sunnis.

Hussam Louka, in particular, has been accused of bribery, betrayal, and making deals with "officers", using money from Gulf states. Reports suggest he orchestrated the handover of Syria to Turkey in a deal with the Americans—yet his name conveniently disappears from discussions of accountability.

Before blaming Alawites, hold the real power brokers accountable.

Another fantastic piece from Dr David Hughes exposing the many anomalies between the observable empirical evidence and the official account of the alleged #ManchesterArenaBombing.

Focusing on the reported survivors once again, Hughes shows why there are so many outstanding questions. Consistently adding further evidence, David highlights the apparent discrepancies between the images of Ruth Murrell and a woman seen standing closer to the bottom of the steps leading to the City Room. I had previously argued that that this was Murrell and it therefore showed Ruth was not stood next to Michelle Kiss when she was reportedly killed. David makes an excellent argument that the woman on the steps is not Murrell. Perhaps Ruth and Michelle were stood in a CCTV blind spot after all and my conclusion was wrong. It is certainly something I need to look at again. This, of course, is exactly what the research of "evidence" is all about. We can only know what happened by examining the evidence and I am delighted that Dr Hughes and Pighooey are adding to that body of evidence all the time.
