Bangladesh student protests began with legitimate demands, but peaceful demonstrations rapidly turned into riots and not only because of police brutality. It transpires that protesters were targeted by a disinformation campaign run by shady social media accounts and bots, mostly controlled by UK and US agencies of chaos. They spread inflammatory narratives and now are trying to instigate sectarian violence. USAID, NED and other US organizations have invested heavily in "democracy promotion", funded NGOs, groomed community leaders, trained activists and student leaders.▪️Bangladesh is the eighth-most populated country in the world, there live over 170 million people. The majority of the Bangladeshi population identifies as Muslim (89.1%), while 10% identifies as Hindu. ▪️Why did they target Bangladesh? China is Bangladesh’s main arms supplier, investor, and trade partner. China invested over $10 billion in Bangladesh under the Belt and Road Initiative. Bangladesh also maintains very good relations with India and Russia, and last year applied to join the BRICS. ▪️After the unpopular Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina resigned on Monday, and the army took control, an interim government will be set up to run the country. @LauraRuHK

Israeli forces have taken 2,000 bodies from cemeteries throughout Gaza over the course of the war, and some corpses have been handed back in ways that “desecrated the bodies” of those killed, said Gaza’s government media office.

“Over the course of 304 days of the genocide, the occupation has kidnapped more than 2,000 bodies of martyrs and dead people from dozens of cemeteries in the governorates of the Gaza Strip, which the occupation bulldozed with bulldozers and military vehicles and turned their graves over, in a scene that violates humanity and human feelings,” the statement reads.

“The Israeli occupation army desecrates the dignity of the bodies of 89 martyrs, handing them over as skeletons and decomposed corpses.”

A new report by Israeli human rights group, B’Tselem, has revealed that more than a dozen Israeli prison facilities were converted into a network of camps “dedicated to the abuse” of Palestinian detainees following October 7.

According to the report, at least 60 Palestinians have died in Israeli custody since the war in Gaza began. Some 48 of them were from Gaza.

The Israeli occupation forces announced today that an interceptor mistakenly fell onto Highway 4 in Nahariya.

Upon watching the video of the impact, it is evident that the explosion is very similar to the one that occurred in Majdal Shams in northern Occupied Palestine last month.

That explosion resulted in the deaths of 12 children, and "Israel" falsely blamed the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon for the incident without providing any evidence for the allegations.

This further reinforces #Hezbollah's denial of their responsibility for the explosion in #MajdalShams.

"“Welcome to Hell” is a report on the abuse and inhuman treatment of Palestinians held in Israeli custody since 7 October 2023.

B’Tselem collected testimonies from 55 Palestinians held during that time and released, almost all with no charges. Their testimonies reveal the outcomes of the rushed transformation of more than a dozen Israeli prison facilities, military and civilian, into a network of camps dedicated to the abuse of inmates as a matter of policy. Facilities in which every inmate is deliberately subjected to harsh, relentless pain and suffering operate as de-facto torture camps.
