According to Google passkeys are 'significantly safer and more secure than passwords and other phishable authentication factors.'

Here's the stand out information in the article:

“We have worked with others in the industry, including Apple and Microsoft, and members within the FIDO Alliance and the W3C to drive secure authentication standards for years. We have shipped support for W3C WebAuthn and FIDO standards since their inception,”

FIDO, which stands for Fast IDentity Online, partnered with the WEF in 2020 on a 26-page report called "Passwordless Authentication" for a digital identity system, a major component of the great reset. It is also important to note that last year the US House of Representatives heard testimonies from contributors of this report.
