BUT WE ARE NOT READY TO TALK ABOUT IT
Two Sydney healthcare workers were filmed saying they would refuse to treat — even harm — Jewish patients. At first, some dismissed it as hyperbole. Heat of the moment. Angry words.
But then something chilling emerged.
After the Bondi attack, a Jewish woman taken to hospital says her name was changed before surgery. Not because of media pressure — but because there were fears about how her Jewish identity might be received.
Let that sink in.
If hospital administrators feel the need to conceal a patient’s identity out of fear, what does that say about trust inside our own institutions?
This video is not about attacking an entire religion or community.
It’s about confronting extremist ideology wherever it appears.
It’s about asking whether Australia has taken integration and social cohesion seriously enough.
It’s about whether we’ve been too afraid to call out hate — not with softness and platitudes — but with clarity.
At the same time, Melbourne is grappling with youth violence. Europe is facing migration pressures. Political leaders continue to insist everything is fine.
Is it?
When public safety, institutional trust, and liberal values are on the line, we don’t get to hide behind slogans.
We need honest conversations about:
• Integration
• Enforcement
• Citizenship standards
• Extremism
• Accountability
If we can’t defend equality before the law — for everyone — then what exactly are we defending?
