Today we honor the nearly 3,000 innocent lives taken and the countless families forever changed. Their memory deserves truth, not revisionist history.
History has been repeating itself for centuries. In 1786, Jefferson and Adams met Tripoliโs ambassador, who declared that Islam gives Muslims the right to wage war on non-believers. Jefferson refused to keep paying tribute, and Tripoli declared war on the United States in 1801.
Fast forward exactly 200 years:
Jihad struck America on 9/11.
Osama bin Ladenโs manifesto justified terror as โdefenseโ against the West, twisting facts to paint Islam as the victim. That propaganda is still alive, spread online by โuseful idiots,โ convincing many that the West is the aggressor.
But history says otherwise. Islam has been on the offensive for centuries. The West pushed back at Vienna in 1683, halting the Ottoman advance. Since then, the goal of jihad hasnโt changed: dominance.
After Israelโs rebirth in 1948, Islamic movements intensified their mission: revenge, conquest, and the dream of a global caliphate.
9/11 was not a random act of hatred. It was part of a much older, ongoing war โ one the West must stop pretending doesnโt exist.
