What Is a Lot Size?

Everytime you open a trade you will choose a Lot size! The Lot size determines how big the trade is and controls the profits & losses. 

There's 3 common Lot sizes: 
1.00 = Standard  - Big trade size

0.10 = Mini - Medium size

0.01 = Micro - Small and safe for beginners

If you trade on a large lot size, a small shift in the market can either make or lose a lot of money. It can be good, but it can also be bad! Always remember to use correct risk management!
