No B.S. Just Charts.
AI stocks are in freefall. The KOSPI dumped nearly 10% overnight - triggering circuit breakers - as its two largest AI chipmakers collapsed over 12%, the Nikkei fell 5%+, and the Nasdaq is down as much as 3% pre-market. Chief Market Strategist Gareth #Soloway breaks down whether this is the beginning of the end for the crowded AI trade, why a wave of far cheaper Chinese AI models could commoditize the whole space and crush hyperscaler margins, and how the president's habit of propping the market with headlines keeps creating dangerous air pockets underneath it. Then he gets to the charts that matter.

๐ COVERED IN THIS EPISODE:
๐ด KOSPI, Nikkei & Nasdaq - A global AI selloff; the KOSPI's textbook RSI negative divergence ("three peaks to a valley") warned of the drop before it happened
๐ต S&P 500 & Nasdaq - The lower low is in; Gareth is watching for the lower high to finally confirm lower-highs and lower-lows
๐ด NVIDIA (NVDA) - A bear flag forming on top of a possible double-top / head-and-shoulders; watch the neckline for the breakdown
๐ด Micron (MU) - Earnings tomorrow after the bell with sky-high expectations after a ~287% run since March; a possible intraday gap-fill bounce near $1,042, but earnings decide the next move
๐ด Intel (INTC) - Down ~10% from yesterday's high after the Intel-Apple deal headline
๐ด SpaceX - Back to its $150 IPO open price, leaving every public buyer underwater; insiders bought near $135, where institutions may defend
๐ข Microsoft (MSFT) - Bouncing on rotation even with the Nasdaq down; Gareth still sees a path back toward $400 (~10% upside)
๐ข Netflix (NFLX) - A clean trendline bounce level triggering today; a 10-15% swing setup
๐ด SanDisk (SNDK) - Collapsing toward $2,000 after closing near $2,273; Gareth isn't a buyer until it corrects much more
๐ด Citigroup (C) - A beautiful trendline in the upper range Gareth likes for a short on a pullback
๐ด Gold - Still near-term bearish (the right call); first support in the $3,900-$4,000 area within days
๐ด Silver - The support line is weakening; $54 is likely within a few weeks
๐ต Oil & Natural Gas - Oil fading on Iran headlines; nat gas still building a possible cup-and-handle Gareth is watching
๐ด Bitcoin (BTC) - A break and confirm below ~$59,900-$60,000 opens a trap door toward $50,000
๐ KEY TAKEAWAY: The AI trade is now more concentrated than the dot-com bubble, and at some point it has to unwind - it doesn't mean the technology isn't incredible, but when hedge funds are all-in, retail usually gets stuck. Cheaper Chinese AI models threaten hyperscaler margins, and Gareth is watching for the lower high to confirm the trend change. Be careful here.

Stock market today: S&P 500, Nasdaq sink as AI trade cools off, semiconductor stocks retreat
Live
US stocks slid on Tuesday as a sell-off in memory chipmakers on Wall Street spurred doubts about the AI trade.
The tech-exposed Nasdaq Composite (^IXIC) sank roughly 2.1%, leading Wall Street down. Meanwhile, the S&P 500 (^GSPC) lost 1.4%, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average (^DJI), which includes fewer tech names, fell just below the flat line.
The Nasdaq took another hammering on Tuesday after Monday saw Big Tech players take a hit as SpaceX (SPCX) notched its third day of losses in a row. Shares in Elon Musk's space company briefly wiped out all of its post-IPO gains but then turned higher in afternoon trading, ending the day slightly in the green.
Piling on the pressure, a sell-off in memory chip giants SK Hynix (000660.KS) and Samsung Electronics (005930.KS, SSNLF) in South Korea underscored growing questions about overstretched AI valuations. Both saw their shares sink by over 12%, dragging the benchmark Kospi Composite (^KS11) stock index to a 10% loss.
The rout turns up the focus on Micron (MU) earnings due for release on Wednesday, watched for a read on how strong the demand for memory remains. Shares in the memory chipmaker dropped over 13%, after surging to a record close on Monday.

"Did The AI Bubble Just Burst? Technical Analysis Deep Dive With Gareth #Soloway".
๐ SAFETY NOTICE: Gareth #Soloway and the Verified Investing team will NEVER reach out to you on Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord, or YouTube comments asking for money or offering trades. Any account claiming otherwise is an impersonator โ report and block it.
Did the AI bubble just burst? After a brutal AI-led selloff on Wall Street, Chief Market Strategist Gareth Soloway breaks down the technical damage on Trading The Close. The KOSPI fell 10% overnight (triggering circuit breakers), the Nasdaq dropped over 3%, and Micron got hammered into tomorrow's make-or-break earnings. Gareth's answer: not officially - not yet. He walks through exactly what would confirm a market top, why a wave of cheaper AI models threatens future margin compression across chips and memory, and where money is quietly rotating as the dust settles.
๐ COVERED IN THIS EPISODE:
๐ด The AI Selloff & Semis - Micron down 13% on the day; the bubble isn't confirmed burst until the semis put in a confirming down move, and Micron earnings tomorrow after the bell are the trigger
๐ด KOSPI, Nikkei & Concentration Risk - The KOSPI's 10% drop (two stocks make up over half the index) - and a reminder that ~10 stocks drive the Nasdaq 100; a KOSPI gap fill ~5% lower is the bounce zone Gareth is watching tonight
๐ต S&P 500 & Nasdaq (QQQ) - Lower lows are in (stage one); Gareth wants to see a lower high (stage two) to call a market top, and is holding off until Micron earnings
๐ด NVIDIA (NVDA) - Down 4%; even at a ~21 forward PE, cheaper AI models raise the risk of margin compression down the line
๐ด FedEx (FDX) - Falling after hours on earnings, with a major multi-year trendline now at risk of breaking down
๐ด Cerebras - The new IPO semi reports at 7PM ET; opened to the public at $350 and has traded down near $197, with a bear flag keeping it suspect even on a bounce
๐ต US Dollar (DXY) - Soaring on safe-haven flows and a hawkish Warsh, now into major resistance at 101.50-101.60; Gareth is skeptical it breaks out given US debt
๐ข Microsoft (MSFT) & Defensives - Money rotating into MSFT (up ~2%), Netflix, ConAgra, and Kraft Heinz; an oversold bounce in Microsoft could target ~$400
๐ด Gold - Still bearish; first support at $3,900-$4,000, and a break opens the door to $3,500
๐ด Silver - A nasty breakdown to its lowest close since the move to $120; $54 could come within days, with $50 the longer-term target
๐ต Oil & Natural Gas - Oil a range-bound non-event today; nat gas stuck in a tight range with a possible bullish cup-and-handle
๐ด Bitcoin (BTC) - Sitting on a double bottom; if the AI and Nasdaq correction continues, it likely heads toward $50,000 or below
๐ KEY TAKEAWAY: It was a brutal AI-led day, but Gareth says the bubble hasn't officially burst - the lower lows are in, and a lower high (likely confirmed by Micron's earnings tomorrow) would complete the top. The bigger story is the threat of margin compression from cheaper AI models; for now, money is rotating into defensives and the dollar while metals and Bitcoin stay heavy.
