What happened in China this week:
1. China just toppled Nvidia in robotics. Spirit AI's Spirit v1.6 topped the RoboArena global leaderboard, beating Nvidia's Cosmos 3.
2. And it's not just Spirit AI. Manifold AI, AgiBot, and DexForce now lead global rankings in world modelling, robotic perception, and training-data generation. The whole stack.
3. PCBs are hot right now. Victory Giant is up 75% from its IPO price, and competitor WUS Printed Circuit is lining up to list in HK next.
4. Silvercorp mines silver at a lower all-in sustaining cost than the global industry average, meaning it stays profitable even when prices dip. It's listing in HK to fund international expansion.
5. Soochow Securities is buying Donghai Securities in an 11.5 billion yuan deal, combining two state-owned Jiangsu brokerages into one bigger regional champion. China's brokerage consolidation march continues.
6. In the land of Toyotas and Hondas, Chery dares to sell cars in Japan. Smart about it too, going in under a separate brand, through Japanese dealers, targeting the popular kei car segment. Will the Japanese actually buy one?

Is the Software Stock Rebound Here?
Software stocks have taken a beating since AI took off.
If you're invested in Hang Seng Tech, you're probably lamenting its 11% drop this year while AI stocks rally everywhere else. But it's a Hong Kong problem, not a China one. China's AI hardware plays (GPUs, AI chips, optical) chose to list in Shanghai and Shenzhen instead. So stop thinking HK tech is representative of China tech.
