Prof. Jeffrey Sachs message to India🇮🇳 and China🇨🇳: DON’T let a border dispute created by Britain prevent cooperation between TWO GREAT CIVILISATIONS! ‘All the world’s problems go back to the British. The problem between India and China goes back to 1914…
🇮🇳 On the 6th of April 1930, the Dandi march reached its culmination as Mahatma Gandhi broke the salt laws—marking the climax of the historic March, which had begun on 12 March as a 24-day, non-violent defiance of British rule. This act directly challenged the draconian Salt Act of 1882, which entrenched imperial monopoly over salt and imposed an unjust tax on a basic necessity.

Starting from Ahmedabad to the coastal village of Dandi, the march covered approximately 380 km. Millions joined along the way, including women, farmers, workers, and ordinary citizens. The movement shook the foundations of colonial rule and forced the British government to negotiate with Gandhi. For the first time, an Indian leader met the British Viceroy as an equal.

The meeting angered Winston Churchill, who mocked Gandhi, calling it “alarming and also nauseating” to see him “striding half-naked up the steps of the Vice-regal palace… to parley on equal terms with the representative of the King-Emperor.”

Churchill’s words revealed the arrogance of imperial power, unable to tolerate the rise of a colonised nation. Gandhi’s simplicity and courage inspired millions across the world, while Churchill’s record remains deeply controversial.

The Dandi March was not merely about salt. It was about sovereignty, dignity, and the right of Indians.

🚨The Rowlatt Act: How British Rule CRIMINALISED Indian Voices

On this day in 1919, Mahatma Gandhi called for resistance against the Rowlatt Act, a law designed to crush dissent and silence a nation demanding freedom.

The Act empowered the British to arrest without trial, jail political opponents, and censor voices in the name of “order”. But this was never about order. It was about repression. Like most colonial laws, its impact was deeply class-driven.

The working classes, peasants, students, and nationalist intellectuals led the resistance, organising protests and facing repression.

Gandhi’s call was not just against one law. It was against an entire structure of imperial power.

Colonial rule thrived on fear, brute force, exploitation, and enforced submission. The poor did not just resist; they were beaten, jailed, dispossessed, and silenced. The empire did not respond — it crushed, it punished, it terrorised.

But the truth could not be buried. History ripped apart the illusion. When oppression is written into law by a foreign power, resistance is not an option.

It is an obligation born out of survival.

🇮🇳 India’s Maritime CALM Holds Firm Amid Tensions

The Indian government confirms all Indian seafarers in the region are safe, with no incidents involving Indian-flag vessels in the past 24 hours.

Two vessels, Green Sanghvi and Green Asha, carrying LPG, have successfully crossed the Strait of Hormuz in the last two days.

16 Indian-flagged vessels remain active in the Western Persian Gulf, with 433 Indian seafarers on board.

Steady operations. Safe passage.

India keeps its maritime lines secure, even as the region stays volatile.

🇨🇳🇮🇳 India and China Talk BUSINESS While Others Burn Through Resources

Yu Jing, spokesperson for the Embassy of China in India, confirmed that the first Indian business delegation to China in over five years has just concluded its visit to Shanghai.

The focus was clear:
EVs
Clean energy
Supply chains

Business is back on track.

While other countries remain consumed by conflict, escalation, and exhausting their own resources, India and China are quietly prioritising trade, economic cooperation, and long-term strategic interests.

🚨🇮🇱 Israel Now WARNS Iranian Civilians To Avoid Public Trains

Israel is now warning Iran’s civilians to stay off trains, cloaking it in the language of “safety”.

So far, tens of thousands have reportedly been killed or injured, including 200 children.

Over 600 schools and educational facilities have been destroyed in Iran. Power ripped out. Families clawing through rubble in pitch black, with no doctors coming.

The self-glorifying monstrosity of the Trump–Netanyahu war is now hunting civilians just to make Tehran kneel. The West nods. The media hedges. The death toll climbs.

History won’t forget.

🚨 After 40 days of war with the US-Israel axis, a two-week ceasefire has been announced, as Iran declares victory and the country erupts in celebration.

🚨🇺🇸 US President Donald Trump:

💬 “A big day for World Peace! Iran wants it to happen, they’ve had enough! Likewise, so has everyone else! The United States of America will be helping with the traffic buildup in the Strait of Hormuz. There will be lots of positive action! Big money will be made. Iran can start the reconstruction process. We’ll be loading up with supplies of all kinds, and just ‘hangin’ around’ to make sure everything goes well. I feel confident that it will. Just like we are experiencing in the US, this could be the Golden Age of the Middle East!!!”

It has been less than 24 hours since he threatened to end “civilisation in Iran.” Now, like a chameleon, the US President pivots to talk of peace, positivity, and prosperity.

The US and Israel applied maximum military pressure on Iran and failed to deliver their stated aims: no regime collapse, no dismantling of the state, and no forced submission.

Iran took heavy damage and still retained missile and drone capability. It continued to impose costs. That alone means it was not neutralised.

The rapid shift from threats to a two-week truce exposes the reality: escalation became too costly to sustain.

If the objective was regime change, disarmament, and submission, none were achieved. This was not control. It was a pressure campaign that failed to break its target.

🇮🇳🇨🇳India-China UNITY Signals the Rise of the Asian Century

In a major shift, China has become India’s largest trading partner for the 11th straight month in FY2026, Chinese Ambassador Xu Feihong tweeted.

Trade with China stands at $137 billion, ahead of $127.8 billion with the US.

Trade is doing what geopolitics cannot: keeping the relationship functional and pragmatic.

While others remain locked in conflict cycles, India and China are quietly building economic weight that is reshaping global equations.

War Secretary Pete Hegseth:

‘President Trump forged this moment. Iran begged for this ceasefire, and we all know it. As the President said this morning, a big day for world peace.

Iran wants it to happen. They’ve had enough. Operation Epic Fury was a historic and overwhelming victory on the battlefield — a capital-V military victory.’

That claim does not withstand scrutiny.

Iran retains missile and drone capabilities and continues to strike back, directly undermining any assertion of total military collapse.

The abrupt shift to a two-week truce was not dominance. It was constraint. Even Washington concedes its forces remain on alert, ready to re-engage.

Hegseth’s account is not analysis. It is narrative management — a crude attempt to launder failure through repetition, the oldest trick in the propaganda handbook.

The world is not so easily taken in. When objectives such as regime change, disarmament, and strategic submission remain unmet, branding it a “historic victory” is not merely exaggeration.

It is a deliberate falsehood.

🇺🇸 US President Donald Trump:

‘All U.S. ships, aircraft, and military personnel, with additional ammunition, weaponry, and anything else that is appropriate and necessary for the lethal prosecution and destruction of an already substantially degraded enemy, will remain in place in and around Iran until such time as the REAL AGREEMENT reached is fully complied with. If for any reason it is not, which is highly unlikely, then the ‘shootin’ starts,’ bigger, better, and stronger than anyone has ever seen before.’

President of the United States spinning failure in real time. Every 12 hours, the line changes — threats, backtracking, then suddenly “peace”.

The US has lost the war and the trust of its citizens as a world leader and military power.

This is what a declining hegemon looks like — loud, erratic, and out of control.

The pattern is tired: escalate, miss every objective, then shout “victory” anyway.

This was a reckless war that achieved nothing it set out to do — just damage, costs, and a dented credibility that won’t recover easily.

And yet, he will still sell it as a win. At this point, only a joker would trust him.

🚨🇮🇳ENERGY DIPLOMACY: India steps up outreach amid a United States–Iran ceasefire.

Petroleum Minister Hardeep Singh Puri engages in key energy talks in Qatar, while EAM S. Jaishankar will also visit the UAE on Saturday to deepen strategic ties.

These coordinated moves highlight New Delhi’s clear strategy: diversifying energy partnerships and building long-term resilience in a volatile region.

With nearly 60% of LPG imports sourced from the Gulf—and a major share transiting the critical Strait of Hormuz—India’s proactive engagement is about securing supply lines, reducing risk, and strengthening energy security at scale.

🚨WAR ON IRAN: UN, IMO, CANNOT BE SILENT on attack on Safesea Vishnu and other ships!

‘It was a well-calculated, calibrated attack on the Safesea Vishnu. It’s quite different than the attacks that has happened in the region that we have seen for the last couple of weeks. All those attacks had happened through drones, missiles, etc.

It was attacked in the territorial waters of Iraq, within the vicinity of the terminal. And what has surprised us about this attack, after doing the due diligence, is that one day before the attack, there was a speedboat that definitely took a couple of rounds, probably to map the attack. And it was attacked at a very vulnerable time, midnight. She was supposed to complete the operation in just the next couple of hours.

It was attacked using an unmanned vessel with explosives on board. The boat that was controlling this unmanned vessel was just miles away from our ships. So this attack definitely happened inside the territorial waters of Iraq.

Again, there are coast guards. They’re vigilant, definitely operating 24/7, especially during the time of war. We have not seen any sort of action or report thereafter from Iraqis about how they allowed this attack to happen inside their territory.

We have not seen that. So that’s one of the reasons we have requested international bodies, including the United Nations, the Guardian of the Maritime Industry, and the IMO, to come forward and do the investigation on this. They cannot be quiet.’

🚨STRAIT OF HORMUZ: Safesea Vishnu was attacked because ‘ultimate beneficial owner happens to be a US🇺🇸 national.’ Iran aimed for MAXIMUM CASUALTIES

‘They could have attacked the ship when the ship was inside the terminal for about nine to 10 days. Iran knew that attacking inside the terminal means less casualties. And they have planned it very, very well.

There is only one reason for the attack: because the ultimate beneficial owners happens to be a US National. That’s it. We do not see anything more than that.

But yes, it was a very calculated attack, and definitely there has been some assistance from the host country…

They wanted 100% casualties on the ship. They wanted this 28 crew to be bait because in an STS operation it’s not an easy task to jump from the ship or to lower the lifeboat as such. But they managed it.’

🚨NO DEAL IN ISLAMABAD:

J.D. Vance announced the failure to reach an agreement with Iran, and headed back to the US.

Imposing maximalist demands on Iran after suffering what the world can see was one of the worst strategic defeats the US has ever suffered was never going to work.

Iran has little incentive to give up its hard-fought gains. Threats of US bombing and assassinations cause less and less fear as they did before, as the Iranian government proved it could keep on operating despite assassinations and destruction…

And the IRGC could keep firing with the dispersal of command authority. A return to war would be catastrophic for the region, and the world, one hopes for an acceptable diplomatic settlement to be reached before the ceasefire period expires.

But that all depends on whether the US is ready to negotiate in good faith, and whether the US will keep trying to impose surrender terms on Iran after Iran secured a strategic victory.

"If you turn down a deal…you'll be dead."

-🇺🇸Senator Lindsey Graham to Iran

‘Bend to the US’ demands, even when you impose a strategic defeat on the United States, or we’ll just kill you.’

Rising powers in the global south which don’t have nuclear weapons yet are now starting to see why nuclear weapons are the only protection from the US’ destruction and deceit:

-If you make a deal with the US, they won’t honour it

-If you negotiate with the US, they will use the negotiations as cover to bomb you

-If you refuse to accept their terms, they will assassinate your head of state

-Even if you impose a strategic defeat on the US, they will continue to bomb you

The imperialist hubris of US foreign policy has only signalled to the rising powers that North Korea’s🇰🇵 Kim Jong Un was right to obtain nuclear weapons.

🚨Approximately 16,000 seafarers STUCK in the Strait of Hormuz are being treated as POWs, at least HALF are Indian🇮🇳 nationals!

‘If you do the maths, if there are just about 20 crew members on each ship, then you have 16,000 crew that definitely got trapped.

And out of 16,000, I can say for surely, just about, if not more than 50%, at least 50% are Indian seafarers. At least 8,000 are definitely Indian seafarers.

My question to the IMO here is who is the guardian of the maritime industry? It is the IMO. If seafarers today are being treated as prisoners of war, under what convention? Who is coming forward to even think of those?’
