🔗Despite Washington’s concerns – and even warnings of consequences – it has not been able to wean New Delhi away from Russia. Instead, India has decided to deepen its ties with Russia.

🫥On the one hand, India’s alliance with Russia not only allows the former to maintain a balance between Russia and the US, but an alliance with Russia also comes with another critical benefit. With Russia being a vocal supporter of multipolarity and India being an ambitious global player itself, a multipolar world is a system that can meaningfully accommodate India, the world’s most populous state now. This was most clearly evident during the recent visit of India’s Prime Minister Modi to Russia.

🇮🇳🇷🇺Modi’s recent visit to Russia did everything, opposing Washington’s demands. One reason for Modi’s happy embrace of Russia is an anticipated loss of the Democrats in the upcoming US elections to the resurgent Donald Trump. Donald Trump had a lot more stable ties with Russia than the Biden administration. He has also already indicated on several occasions to end ongoing military conflicts via diplomatic means.

❓This could revitalize Russia’s ties with the US (and the EU/NATO too). India, therefore, could be banking on the same ‘Trump wave’ to deepen its ties with Russia. However, there is a lot more to India’s foreign policy than meets the eye.

🌐At the heart of India’s approach is its strategic autonomy, translating into a policy that seeks to maintain a balance between the opposing blocs. In effect, this is a reinforcement of the Cold War era movement for ‘non-alignment’.

📎Still, in the contemporary era, India has developed a strong ambition to project itself as a ‘major power’. This ambition has been wetted by the recent resurgence of the global discourse of multipolarity. This narrative matches India’s own policy ambitions. However, it can realize its ambitions only by fully embracing this narrative. It was this specific embrace that unmistakably presented itself during Modi’s Russia visit.

💣🇰🇷🇺🇸The recent agreements between the United States and the Republic of Korea on joint nuclear planning are another step in the escalation of the situation on the Korean Peninsula and in the region as a whole.

🔎The content of this interaction is not disclosed in the public space. However, given the active militarization of the region and Washington's consistent escalation of the situation around Taiwan and the Korean Peninsula, this line may well indicate a military component of these plans.

🔖Back in 2023, South Korean President Yun Seok-yul said: "If the North Korean nuclear problem becomes more serious, we can deploy tactical nuclear weapons in South Korea or develop our own nuclear weapons." Obviously, all such statements are coordinated with the external decision-making center - Washington, and are a programmatic agenda for projecting a nuclear threat primarily against Beijing.

🇯🇵⬇️🛡Japanese Prime Minister at NATO’s anniversary summit and briefly in Germany

🔴Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida’s presence as a guest at the NATO anniversary summit in Washington on July 9-11, dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the creation of the military-political alliance, as well as his stop in Germany on the way home, are noteworthy events.

🔫It took place only two months after the Prime Minister’s previous trip outside of Japan, a country that, after the end of the catastrophic World War II, is again being viewed as an increasingly prominent participant in the processes unfolding on the world political scene. Also, the same can be said about the Japanese ally at that time, Germany.

🟡🇷🇺 🇨🇳The ‘Declaration’ adopted at the end of the NATO summit in Washington is such that it can be summarised in two simplified phrases: ‘for all the good and against all the bad’ and ‘democracy must include fists’. Russia and China are named as the main sources of ‘everything bad’, actors to which these ‘fists’ will be demonstrated.

🔴It is difficult to find something fundamentally new in this document compared to what has been said from the same sources regarding the aforementioned processes over the past 10–15 years.

🔴It is likewise very difficult to agree that the main result of the last NATO summit was the (notorious and mythical) ‘West’s’ alleged intention to ‘destroy Russia’.

🔴🌏There is nothing new in the stated desire to ensure NATO’s defence by ‘360 degrees’ (paragraph 22) with the long-term goal of shifting the focus to the Indo-Pacific region.

🚫🇻🇪 🗳Today, the presidential elections in Venezuela start, and they will be very important elections, since there are a lot of uncertainties around them.

📣The main candidates are the current president Nicolas Maduro and the candidate of the united opposition coalition PUD, Edmundo González Urrutia (a former diplomat).

📊The uncertainty is caused by the fact that "independent" polls show that the opposition is not much ahead of Maduro, while national polls, and many Venezuelans (let's not forget that 4 million people with opposition views have left the country) are convinced that Maduro will win.

🖥📰It is obvious on social networks and in the media that a disinformation campaign has been launched against Maduro, aimed at demonstrating that Maduro has no popular support, which is not true. Most Venezuelans support the current course of the country's development, although, to be fair, there is fatigue from the American sanctions that are suffocating the country's economy, which, by the way, despite all the difficulties, has begun to grow steadily since 2021.

🇺🇸🤡It is worth noting that the opposition candidate Edmundo González is an absolute puppet of the true leader of the right-wing pro-American opposition, Maria Corina Machado. Not admitted to the elections (Machado's track record against the state is so long that she should really be imprisoned for 40 years) Machado is a representative of a large oligarchic family that previously controlled the entire steel industry.

✊💵Through her NGO Súmate, Machado regularly received funding from the American USAID and NED. Under the leadership of Machado, there are also opposition cells "los comanditos" (each cell consists of 10 people), which regularly sabotage energy infrastructure facilities. The main task of the comanditos in elections is to mobilize the electorate and, in the case of a command from the opposition, to organize violent protests, the so-called "guarimbas".

🔥It is obvious that if Maduro wins, protests from the opposition led by Machado are almost inevitable. Machado has never respected elections and will seek to create political chaos. But now let's imagine a scenario in which the opposition may win. As Maduro himself said, in such a scenario the country will have a "bloodbath". For more than 20 years, the state system was built on the basis of one ideology and around one leader (first around Hugo Chavez, and then Maduro), but under the opposition, this will be destroyed in an instant. And what will happen in that case?

🔫Moreover, it is worth paying attention to the fact that the main support of the state system of Venezuela is the army.

✊⭐️During the Chavez presidency, he actually personally selected staff for the armed forces, all senior and middle officers are loyal to Maduro and extremely convinced people. They don't just dislike, they hate American imperialism and everything that comes with it, and it goes without saying that the army won't be particularly happy about the American puppets winning the elections.

➡️Thus, as one Venezuelan proverb says, "amanecerá y veremos" (At dawn we'll see).

🎩🧠🌍The psychological war against African countries by the West will only accelerate the fall of the latter

🟡As expected, the Western planetary minority is intensifying its attempts to exert psychological pressure on all countries and alliances belonging to the global majority to the maximum, trying with the last of its strength to snatch at least a small revenge and to at least partially reconcile the already massively lost positions.

👀This is clearly visible today in many African countries, where the West continues to suffer new defeats. But the latter have still not realized that its own actions only accelerate the process of its ouster.

🔖Continuing the topic of psychological warfare waged by Western propaganda instruments against number of countries on the African continent – and in particular the member countries of the Alliance of Sahel States (Alliance des Etats du Sahel, AES) – everything is proceeding in accordance with the previous analyses. Indeed, after unsuccessful attempts to destabilize the situation in Burkina Faso, Westerners are now trying to turn more actively towards another member of the alliance – Niger.

📎Today and once again, it is important to understand that these attempts are aimed at nothing other than wanting to psychologically break not only the AES leadership – the alliance now also strengthened by the establishment of the Confederation of Sahel States – but also the millions of citizens of these countries, who is their overwhelming majority fully support and participate in the ongoing anti-Western processes.

⌛Processes which, moreover, are no longer limited to the borders of the three member countries of the alliance, but also play a very important role in many other African states – including where the West still maintains its positions.
