After today’s NYT hit-piece on the Durham investigation, Adam Schiff was just asked about his thoughts on Durham in an interview on MSNBC.

“Bill Barr was a terrible AG and he authorized this investigation because Donald Trump was demanding it…

And for all of the efforts that Barr and his special counsel made to try to investigate the investigators and discredit the origins of the investigation into Trump’s Russian connections, it has produced almost nothing.”

This is called getting ahead of the story.

The NYT's hit piece is really quite something. It's HEAVY on the spin and programming.

It's trying to force upon the reader a view that Durham a) never had a basis beyond gross political warfare, b) that he has failed and c) that he is done.
