If we pay 3 million federal workers an average salary of $50k (and that's conservative, so many make much more plus benefits), that means it costs you and me $150,000,000,000 just to pay their salary. Only about 132 million actually work full time. so that's $1,136 each - the amount every full time employee has to pay - to keep federal workers working.

This doesn't add up - how is this even possible?
