While we think about Peter being arrested and shackled, let's take a moment to remember that hundreds of every day law abiding citizens were also arrested and shackled after Jan 6—most of whom did nothing wrong. Most still awaiting trial. Some still sitting in solitary confinement. Others are out waiting trial. All asked to give up their rights... right to a speedy trial, right to a jury trial (go in front of a judge instead) and in return maybe have a lighter sentence.

Pray for our brothers and sisters.
