The President of Mexico says he asked Donald Trump to pardon Julian Assange but got no response.
Candace Owens asked President Trump why he didn't pardon Assange and his response was that he wanted to see it play out in the courts.
I believe we don't know what has gone on behind the scenes. We don't know what actions, if any, Trump took regarding this.
What's interesting is that back in 2019, the Democrats were worried about who Trump would pardon and whether he'd do pardons in secret. Therefore, a congressman introduced a new bill called "Presidential Pardon Transparency Act". It got nowhere, but they attempted a resurrection of this bill in early 2021.
I believe they were more worried that he would pardon his family, but this brings to light that he may actually be able to have "sealed" pardons.

All the news outlets are reporting that this is due to fuel price increases. Except the government brought the prices back down and quit, yet people are still protesting. Why?
I'm suspecting that the fuel increase was maybe just the tiny straw that broke the camel's back. Perhaps the people were stressed to their precipice. Consider this: In 2015 Kazakhstan was turning into China by wanting to force citizens to install an app on their desktop computers and mobile devices so the govt could track them. They also recently implemented mask mandates, even outdoors. (sauce below).
These are only a couple of examples (a quick dig for me). Perhaps the people were pushed too far?
