Breaking news! And it’s good!
Cami met with the leukemia specialist doctor today to review her bloodwork and the results of her bone marrow biopsy from last week. Her bone marrow results show ZERO leukemia cells in her marrow - which means that the clinical trial medication worked perfectly and she is in remission!

But wait…there’s more! The doctor said they have found a donor match for her to receive a stem cell transplant! She will meet with the transplant team later this week, so we don’t have any details beyond that. They are looking at doing the transplant in a month or two, which is perfect timing in their treatment timeline.

Her bloodwork looked good today. She had received some blood on Sunday, and her numbers today indicate that she doesn’t need any now. Her next check up will be next week.

The treatment team wants to handle that pesky melanoma before the transplant, so she will meet with dermatology very soon to take a bigger bite out of her arm to test for clear margins all around. They may also do a biopsy of a nearby lymph node to be sure it hasn’t gained a foothold anywhere, but between all the PET scans and chemotherapy she’s had, we are hopeful that the surgery will resolve this issue.

For now, she will continue with her maintenance medication at home, monitor her bloodwork, and work with the treatment team to prepare for her stem cell transplant!

As ever, we are so thankful for the prayers, love, and support from everyone. We are especially thankful to those of you who have signed up for the donor registry. This is a little miracle!

Here’s a cute current picture of Cami and Cabot last weekend. They were so excited to attend a baseball tournament with Cabot’s family. A wonderful treat after 30 days in the hospital!

The Hormuz Strait will have to be guarded and policed, as necessary, by other Nations who use it — The United States does not! If asked, we will help these Countries in their Hormuz efforts, but it shouldn’t be necessary once Iran’s threat is eradicated. Importantly, it will be an easy Military Operation for them.
