The world you live in is a miasma of distraction and hyper-stimulation. God didn’t build you to have your tank so full all of the time that there is no room for peace, joy, love and laughter.

Don’t forget to live a little in the world you grew up in. Spin some vinyl. Go lie in the grass and see pictures in the clouds. Take a drive to nowhere. Write a letter to someone you love with a pen and send it with a postage stamp. Find an antique store and buy something that evokes your childhood.

Happy St. Patricks Day!

Patrick's story is such a powerful reminder of how God's grace can completely transform a life.

He was kidnapped as a teenager by Irish pirates and enslaved in Ireland for six long years. During that lonely time, he began to seek God and turned from his earlier rejection of faith. Day after day he prayed while tending sheep, until he finally escaped.

When he made it home, he didn't choose comfort. He studied and pursued theological training - not just to learn, but because God was calling him back to Ireland to share the gospel with the same people who had enslaved him.

God used Patrick to help turn a pagan land into a place known for Christian faith and learning. His courage, obedience, forgiveness, and his love for his enemies show the supernatural power of grace and reminds us that God loves to lift up the humble and use them for His glory🙏
