Lebanon had an emergency meeting today

After Hezbollah attacked Israel from within Lebanon, the Lebanese government came out with a statement condemning the attacks and banning Hezbollah from any further military action from within it's borders and is making Hezbollah turn over it's weapons. It will arrest anyone who carries out military offensives within its borders.

"... after rejecting and condemning the rocket launch operation claimed by Hezbollah yesterday, which contradicts the exclusive authority of the Lebanese state alone over decisions of war and peace, as it also contradicts the rejection of dragging Lebanon into the ongoing regional war, and constitutes a violation of the Council of Ministers' decisions and a circumvention of the will of the majority of Lebanese people, thereby undermining the credibility of the Lebanese state...

...The Lebanese state declares its absolute rejection, with no room for ambiguity or interpretation, of any military or security operations launched from Lebanese territories... which necessitates the immediate prohibition of all of Hezbollah's security and military activities as they are deemed outside the law, and obliges it to hand over its weapons to the Lebanese state"
