She has been diagnosed and confirmed it is leukemia.
90 days short of the whole "if you go 3 years without having secondary issues or relapse, the odds of survival go up."
1% of the people that survive the year of inpatient chemo she went through will go on to develop Leukemia.
The survival rate there is mixed.
They are hoping to do stem cell therapy.
She has the rarest blood type.
She is my hero and I am just crushed to know shes going to be sick again.
She is a believer and we place this at His feet.
Waiting for miracles.

Friends, I know with so much going on, can I request a little prayer or two.

My daughter in law is expecting in June. She went into ER last night with cramping. They gave her magnesium and pain meds and the cramping let up but she needs to see her OB. Our unborn baby is a boy named Ryker.

Before I left to watch my son's children, our cat Nala got off her tether. We can't find her. She never wanders off this long. I'm sort of heart broken over this..

Hi Nevlanders, some may not understand, but it was promotion Sunday for my father. This afternoon he was able to be with Jesus today after being in the nursing home for over a year after breaking a hip and having a stroke. My mother, all three of use kids, and his grandson and wife got to be with him during his final moments on earth. He survived Vietnam. If you saw the Mel Gibson movie "We Were Soldiers, he was the replacement platoon. If I remember correctly, him and only 2 or 3 others survived. He was awarded the bronze star and purple heart. He has grenade sharpnel in his body and took a bullet a 1/4 inch from his heart. Was exposed to angent orange. My mother wrote an anonymous letter to a soldier and he received it because he was not getting much mail. They married after he was patched up at Ft Hood. He loved his country and when he accepted Jesus as God's son in 1975, he went to seminary school to be a Baptist preacher. My Dad met many people in life. He sat next to Bob Hope on a plane back from Vietnam, we would go visit Mrs H.L. Hunt at her house in Highland Park, Dallas TX. He would play basketball with Larry Bird at the YMCA in Terra Haute, Ind. Frazier Thomas from WGN9 chicago. Dr W.A. Chriswell, from FBC Dallas. I have a picture of him at 16 in a Chicago Cubs uniform at the age of 16 at Wrigly Field, where they wanted to sign him to the majors to play baseball as a pitcher, buy my grandfather worked at the steel mill in Gary, Ind and would not sign the contract as my dad was a minor, and told him, baseball was not a real job. I remember as a kid sitting in church service at Dallas FBC with my parents when President Ford attended. Yes, I'll miss him, but knowing he is with Jesus and I'll get to see him again makes me happy that he is in no pain and with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
