An important win.
On the way to stopping all trans operations on minors.

Before @Bongino appointment to FBI leadership, I wasn't a big fan of his.

I liked him well enough and occasionally watched his show—usually through clips shared online—but I saw him as part of the conservative/MAGA reactionary media sphere. Not really my flavor.

Bongino joined the FBI at the request of the Trump administration. He didn't have to accept.

He's a multimillionaire who had already built a highly successful media career. It would have been so much easier, safer, and more comfy for him and his family if he had declined the invite.

I'm thankful that he accepted.

Since taking the role, he has faced relentless attacks from across the political spectrum—from the left, the right, and from former FBI personnel who were fired or left before his arrival and weren't invited back.

That latter group has been especially disingenuous.

To some degree, Bongino has also taken fire from the very conservative/MAGA media space he was once a prominent part of.

Comments he's made over the past year suggest he's fully aware of this backlash and that his experience inside the FBI has broadened and deepened his perspective on many issues.

I believe that—whether he returns to his show or moves into another media role—his future commentary will be more informed, nuanced, and improved as a result.

And when he leaves, whenever that is, we will owe him our gratitude.

I think it's worth mentioning something else.

Bongino has endured particularly vicious abuse from those who push malign narratives against the DOJ, the FBI, and the Trump Admin.

He's been a favorite target of the types of people who play to the Right and who advocate notions of civil war and degradation of Law & Order.

They may pledge to be Conservatives, MAGA-aligned, or Trump supporters, but in truth they are malefactors and corruptors of the groups they pair with.

Far too many Trump voters are deaf and blind to this element within their groups, screens, and feeds.

Maybe if Bongino returns to doing media, he can not only offer a more educated voice on a number of issues, but he can also be a stronger voice against such threats.

On 12/20/1943, during a bombing mission over Bremen, Germany, US Air Force pilot "Charlie" Brown & his crew knew their engines were failing; German fighters inflicted casualties & structural damage, leaving the bomber crippled & vulnerable. Meanwhile, German ace Franz Stigler, intercepted Brown's broken aircraft.

Closing in, Stigler understood the B-17's dire state &, influenced by a code of honour, refused to shoot it down. Instead, he escorted the bomber out of German-held airspace, flying alongside it, signalling to cease fire, & saluting the American crew before departing. Brown's crew, initially unsure of Stigler's intentions, ordered their turret to aim but not shoot, & eventually managed a safe return to base.

The 2 pilots lived separate lives for decades before reconnecting in the 80’s. Their dramatic encounter built a lasting friendship & a tale of wartime chivalry. The story has since been commemorated through books, documentaries & movies as a powerful example of humanity transcending combat.

Prison reform is needed. Support Tina Peters who is exposing prison conditions, as well as election shenanigans. They continue to persecute her by putting her in solitary confinement. She needs to be freed.

And, as I mentioned on the show this morning, 2026 needs to be a year focused on election integrity.
