The Senate is scheduled to vote on a replacement for Mitch McConnel on November 13th in a secret ballot - that's only 5 days away. Isn't that too soon? Don't we need new senators all determined and seated before this vote? Why are they doing this now? Maybe the AZ delay in counting will force a reschedule?
I don't think we should have any "establishment" person in leadership. We need an America First leader. Who would be your pick?

Arizona update - and I have questions
First, a source in AZ has informed me that the whole ballot curing effort is a tad chaotic because not only do the counties, by law, have to cure the ballots by reaching out to voters, but there are at four organizations in Arizona, obtaining lists of people who need their ballots cured, and are also reaching out to people.
Some of those organizations are reaching out to people who are not qualified to have their ballots cured. The ones that require curing are the ones where signatures do not match, and NOT people who maybe had their ballot replaced because they made a mistake on the first ballot which had to be voided. In other words, not every rejected ballot can be cured.
Not only that, the state has been slow on sending updated data lists to the counties, so both the counties and the separate organizations are trying to cure ballots from people that might have been removed from the list by the state. Is the state intentionally slow rolling information to prevent accurate curing?
Due to so many organizations, plus the county reaching out to people, some voters are getting frustrated and angry.
84%-85% of the vote has been counted so far. Questions:
- Why is it taking so long?
- Will they have to extend the curing deadline if all ballots haven't been processed yet?
- How is it possible that Kari Lake has more votes than Kamala and yet is considered trailing behind when Trump is a sure winner.
- Why, within a two-hour period, is the total number of estimated uncounted ballots 15,000 higher

A Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) official who instructed Hurricane Milton relief workers to skip homes with Trump signs has been fired from her role, a FEMA spokesperson tells Fox News, while Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is investigating the federal agency over the controversy.
The FEMA official, who has not been named by the agency, instructed workers canvassing Lake Placid in Florida to "avoid homes advertising Trump," as they ascertained what residents could qualify for federal aid, according to internal messages first obtained by the Daily Wire.
The Daily Wire reports that government employees told the outlet that at least 20 homes with Trump signs or flags were bypassed from the end of October and into November due to the "best practices" guidance from the official. The houses were skipped over by the workers, who wrote messages such as: "Trump sign no entry per leadership," in a government system, per the outlet.
