The feds are now tracking every single business in the United States - unreal.

I just learned that within 90 days of filing as a new business with your Secretary of State, you are required to file a report with the federal government to give your real individual identity.

All existing companies created before 1/1/2024 need to file before January 1, 2025 and any company created through their Secretary of State's office after 1/1/2024 needs to file within 90 days of creating their business.

They say this is to prevent fraud, but what's super interesting is that all the companies who are exempt from filing (see attached) are the types of companies who would likely commit financial crimes (except publicly traded companies that already have to report to the feds)... clown world 🤡 - In other words, if we aren't tracking you yet, we will now.

I didn't know about this - accidentally stumbled upon it. Not even my state Secretary of State office had any notification about it. Crazy. They can fine you hundreds of dollars a day if you don't report. Sharing because I know many frens are self-employed or own small businesses. Share far and wide please.
