- "planet warming fossil fuels"
- "a heat wave unlike any seen in decades"
- "grappling with deadly wildfires, storms, severe flooding"
- "our energy hungry world"
- "hundreds of people died as temperatures rose to 120 degrees"

That last one is referencing the yearly pilgrimage to Mecca, Saudi Arabia. I lived in Saudi Arabia in the 80s and 120 degrees is normal there in the summer. It would get so hot, I could not walk barefoot even a few feet from my beach chair to the pool.

The Supreme Court is looking to decide on a very important case on Donald Trump. The outcome of this could happen any day now as this case will determine if 45 is immune from prosecution for his so called "efforts to overturn the election during January 6th."
Another case will determine if Trump and Jan 6th defendants can be charged with obstruction which would carry a 20 year prison sentence which is absolutely wild.....
It's going to very interesting to see how the rest of this year plays out.
Feels like we are living in a calm before a storm type of situation. It's sure to get very interesting here soon.
I suppose the question remains, will Trump actually spend time in prison? If so, things could get heated very quickly in this country.
