A few months ago, anons pointed out that the definition for "vaccine" was changed on the CDC website and that immediately the Merriam-Webster dictionary online changed the definition as well to match CDC.

Apparently it's become a hot topic again because Twitter has panicked and released their fact-checker army on this.

Previous definition of vaccine: a product that stimulates a person's immune system to produce immunity to a specific disease
New Definition of vaccine: a preparation that is used to stimulate the body’s immune response against diseases.

Notice the change in the definition no longer says "to produce immunity to a specific disease"

The definition changed sometime between August and September of 2021 in response to people noticing, and reporting on, the fact that people who got the vaccine were still getting covid.
