UPDATE: India fast-tracks Rafale F4 acquisition via G2G deal. The IAF has planned to acquire 90-114 jets worth ₹2L crore. Contract signing is expected by 2026 and the first deliveries by 2028-30.
Israel’s RAFAEL has offered its next-gen Sky Sting BVR Air-to-Air Missile for integration with the Tejas Mk1A. It is designed for long-range air combat, with engagement range of up to 250 km. The missile could provide the Tejas Mk1A with an edge against China’s PL-15.

-certifications delays.
