The 93rd Anniversary of Air Force Station Hindan was a real reflection of the Indian Air Force's prowess, heritage and innovation. Right from paying tributes to Air Warriors to flaunting vintage legends in the air, it was a source of pride that our IAF stands intact.
UPDATE: The Indian Air Force (IAF) is set to receive its first Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) Tejas #Mk1A on October 17 during a ceremony in Nashik, two Tejas Mk1A jets will be handed over to the #IAF during the ceremony.
DRDO has developed a 45 km range Electro-Optical Tracking System (EOTS) for Akash-NG, boosting India’s indigenous SAM capability with advanced precision targeting for next-gen air defence. Major leap for #AatmanirbharBharat & DRDO tech! #AkashNG #IndianDefence@NetramDefence
#China tightens rare earth export rules: Overseas manufacturers using Chinese components now need licences to export controlled tech.
- Defence sector users are barred
- Advanced #Semiconductor applications are reviewed.
- Chinese firms can’t partner abroad without approval.
UPDATE: Data Patterns wants #IAF’s SU-30MKI for flight tests of the Talon Shield AESA-GaN jammer pod. This local #EW technology aims to improve survivability, blind enemy radars, and modernise the Super #Sukhoi fleet. Ground integration is complete, and air trials are upcoming.
India strengthens its strategic defence partnership with the UK through a £350m LMM missile deal for the #IndianArmy and a £250m naval electric propulsion collaboration. Historic Exercise #Konkan 2025 showcases INS Vikrant and HMS Prince of Wales dual-carrier operations.
Turning Operation Sindoor into a culinary roast!
IAF's 93rd anniversary menu features Rawalpindi Chicken, Bahawalpur Naan, and Balakot Tiramisu. Shebaz Sharif serves as a Waiter.

Thread🧵: After #OpSindoor, India accelerated its "Make in India" mission for #DefenceElectronics. It focused on command systems, air defence, and fighter jets to reduce foreign dependency. The #MoD and #MEITY have gone on a mission mode to transform the MoD’s “Year of Reforms”
Modern air defence relies on integrated electronics: Radar networks detect threats, command centres process data in real-time, and missile systems execute precise intercepts.
#AkashSAM@NetramDefence
Operation Sindoor showed that this joint approach is effective. Our layered air defense intercepted enemy drones and missiles, and it kept our own forces safe from friendly fire.

At the heart of every defense system are #Microcontrollers. These small computers manage radars, radios, missile launchers, and secure communication between various components.
#MilitaryElectronics
India is now making basic electronic parts locally: circuit boards, capacitors, resistors, and connectors, instead of importing them, making our supply chains stronger.
#IndigenousTech
First Indian chips will be 28–90 nanometer technology, perfect for defense microcontrollers and electronics.
More advanced chips will come later as we gain experience.
#SemiconductorIndia
Indigenisation means designing and building chips, boards & modules in India. MEITY’s Electronics Components Manufacturing Scheme boosts deep component capacity, helping secure our supply chains and reduce dependence on imported critical tech.

#Pakistan suspends internet across Islamabad-Rawalpindi amid anticipated Tehreek-e-Labbaik demonstrations targeting US Embassy over #Gaza Peace Deal. This reflects growing domestic pressure on Asim Munir's puppet government regarding its compromised position on Middle East.
UPDATE: #Bangladesh is reportedly planning to buy 20 Chinese J-10CE, fighter jets in a $2.2 billion deal, Macron's 2023 Rafale pitch to Bangladesh appears to have failed. If the deal is signed by 2027 under Forces Goal 2030 it will place #Chinese jets on both of India’s borders.
Pakistan's Jaish-e-Mohammed discovers "feminism" after getting destroyed by India's #OpSindoor
From "women belong at home" to "women join jihad" - how Indian airstrikes changed #JeM's gender policy overnight.

A thread on Pakistan's most hypocritical terror group🧵
The same JeM that:
- Stones women for showing their ankles
- Bans girls from going to school

Now desperately recruiting women for:
- Suicide bombing missions
- Cross-border infiltration
- Urban terror ops

This isn’t #Empowerment. It’s desperation dressed as ideology
